Crazy curls, meet your match. This wondrous styling cream is designed to tamp down stubborn kinks and tame frizzy ringlets. The custard-like formula is especially good for ethnic or chemically treated hair, and is the perfect prep for fingerstyling, coiling, twists, and braids. Plus, the fresh pineapple scent makes us want to use it everyday.
I tried Curly Meringue to try and control my frizzy curls. It had a strong fruity scent that gave me a headache. It also seemed to heavy for my hair and left it feeling to thick and kinda filmy. i did like the texture of the cream and the packaging but felt let down about the scent and its effectiveness.3
I use this product sparingly as it can make my curls hard and unnatural looking. It does have good control, but I like products that offer a more natural look.3
Before I start let me just say this smells A-MAZ-ING!! I think it smells Pineapples, and it just makes me want to forever use, for the smell alone. Ok, to the review...It was ok. I put this in my hair after detangling it in the shower, and normally after my hair is pretty tangle free, but after running this through, I notice my hair had a few tangles at the end. It also made my hair a little stiff, but that can be because I used too much. I think it would be awesome if used with Curlformers or any other styling utensil you would set with wet/damp hair.3
I was very excited to receive this product. I was disappointed when I used it. It weighed my hair down and I didn't like the feeling of my hair.3
This product does hol curls well. i am not fond of the scent but isnt problem enough not to use. something i might not purchase outrigh but def worth my BB points3
Did a great job of keeping the frizz at bay, but didn't give much of a boost to my curly/wavy hair, weighing it down instead. The price of some curl definition was definitely some crunchiness. Be forewarned - this product smells VERY strongly like a pina colada.3
I really enjoyed the pineapple smell of the product but felt it did nothing for my hair. I have wavy hair and even with the product my waves were not defined and were frizzy. I believe this product may work for african american hair but not other hair types.3
The product was okay. The problem for me was the smell. It just felt like I was putting Malibu rum in my hair.. and for me that was kind of a no go. I ended up mixing some of it in my other hair products as a little hair cocktail in my palm to help mask the smell.3
I used this product on my girls who have super curly hair. the smell was too overpowering and the cream itself seemed to thicken thier hair too much and make it hard to brush .I cant see myself buying this ...3
I have mixed feelings about this product ust because it is meant for curly and thicker hair. Its a little on the pasty side but if you don't mind that, then this works well.3
