Crazy curls, meet your match. This wondrous styling cream is designed to tamp down stubborn kinks and tame frizzy ringlets. The custard-like formula is especially good for ethnic or chemically treated hair, and is the perfect prep for fingerstyling, coiling, twists, and braids. Plus, the fresh pineapple scent makes us want to use it everyday.
The product was okay. The problem for me was the smell. It just felt like I was putting Malibu rum in my hair.. and for me that was kind of a no go. I ended up mixing some of it in my other hair products as a little hair cocktail in my palm to help mask the smell.3
I used this product on my girls who have super curly hair. the smell was too overpowering and the cream itself seemed to thicken thier hair too much and make it hard to brush .I cant see myself buying this ...3
I have mixed feelings about this product ust because it is meant for curly and thicker hair. Its a little on the pasty side but if you don't mind that, then this works well.3
I've been wanting to try products from this company for a while but just never did until I received this as a sample from Birchbox. I was so excited to try it. So I did. First I must say your better off starting with just a little bit of product. I usually use alot of product when I use something in my hair since it can be pretty coarse and dry but not with this product. I will make your hair dirty and flaky. no bueno. But when I used just a little bit I liked it much better. I would love to purchase it but I don't think I can justify the $ for this product. If it came in a smaller size with a smaller price tag than maybe but until then I will stick with my usual stuff. If the price doesn't bother you than go ahead and pick it up :)3
I loved the packaging very vingtage! i felt i was in one of those old I love lucy shows :) I did like the scent it was a bit like a pina colada scent fruity and coconut-ish. I have tried it only 2 times so far. and i have liked the outcome my hair is long and curly and frizzes in a heart beat. and so far this product has been able to keep my hair under control. I really liked the sample size it allows you go really try it out.3
The meringue is thicker than i expected, but seems to do the job. my curls are not frizzy at all when combined with a curling mousse. I could not use it alone.3
As I don't have very "curly", I'm more of a wavy girl, I didn't find much use for this product. Although, I do have a sister with super duper curly ringlet type hair so I gave it to her. From what she told me, it does seem to tame frizz. It definitely smells great and it has a nice creamy, smooth texture. I think the only down-side to the product is that it does have a tendency to be a tad bit greasy (for lack of a better word). Though I was quite nicely surprised at the ample sample size.. I know my sister was definitely able to get more than a few uses out of it, which is really nice considering it's only a sample.3
I liked the product, but I think it is for people who have truly curly or textured hair. Either that, or you have to wash your hair every day or so.3
This one will hurt...my Garnier creme works better at defining my curls than this did. I know! Blasphemy! But all in all, I wasn't impressed with the end result. Super cute packaging, though!3
The product texture was great. The smell not so great. It left my hair dry and smelling funky. It did do the job of curling better but cant tolerate the smell.3
