Crazy curls, meet your match. This wondrous styling cream is designed to tamp down stubborn kinks and tame frizzy ringlets. The custard-like formula is especially good for ethnic or chemically treated hair, and is the perfect prep for fingerstyling, coiling, twists, and braids. Plus, the fresh pineapple scent makes us want to use it everyday.
As I don't have very "curly", I'm more of a wavy girl, I didn't find much use for this product. Although, I do have a sister with super duper curly ringlet type hair so I gave it to her. From what she told me, it does seem to tame frizz. It definitely smells great and it has a nice creamy, smooth texture. I think the only down-side to the product is that it does have a tendency to be a tad bit greasy (for lack of a better word). Though I was quite nicely surprised at the ample sample size.. I know my sister was definitely able to get more than a few uses out of it, which is really nice considering it's only a sample.3
I liked the product, but I think it is for people who have truly curly or textured hair. Either that, or you have to wash your hair every day or so.3
This one will hurt...my Garnier creme works better at defining my curls than this did. I know! Blasphemy! But all in all, I wasn't impressed with the end result. Super cute packaging, though!3
The product texture was great. The smell not so great. It left my hair dry and smelling funky. It did do the job of curling better but cant tolerate the smell.3
it did help my hair to be less frizzy. it left some residue and made my hair hard3
I have heard raves about Miss Jessie products so I was excited to see this product in my birchbox. I have ringlet curls that are fizzy and not well defined. I didnt see any difference after using this product with the exception of a few ringlets being a bit tighter. My hair was still as frizzy as can be.3
This product smells really good but it does get a little over whelming. It makes my hair soft and helps with the frizz.3
It's probably a very nice product for thicker, curlier hair, but since is mine is quite thin and just wavy, it's a little too much for my hair and tends to weigh it down.3
Since I'm on the fence about the product, I don't know about recommending it to anyone else. I love that the sample size is so generous, though. If it doesn't work for my hair, it may work for my teen daughter. Our hair types are vastly different and we're both "natural"3
I'm not crazy about the texture this product gave my hair. Maybe it was just a bad hair day, so I'm going to give it another try... but the product was kind of sticky and resulted in some strange frizz. I generally use creamier products to avoid that sticky/stiff look.3
