Until recently, sensitive-skinned girls had to steer clear of at-home peels for fear of ending up with red, angry complexions. All that changed when Juice Beauty released this version of their powerful Green Apple Peel. Suitable for even the most delicate skin types, it delivers visible smoothing results after just one use. This patented, award-winning formula peel is made with a gentle yet effective dose of organic, fruit-derived hydroxy acids and raw sugar cane, which exfoliates to reduce breakouts and even out skin tone. We love how the mild tingle lets us know this peel is really working.
When I first applied the mask, it felt cool and tingly. After the recommended time, I washed it off and noticed my face felt tighter. I applied my daily moisturizer and my face began to burn. I immediately rinsed off the moisturizer and my face continued to feel tight and dry. The next few times I exfoliated, my skin felt raw and sensitive. I would not use this product again.1
It is a great product. It worked really well, however the scent was a bit much. Green apple isn't my first choice.1
I have sensitive skin. This product burned a little. I won't be buying it. My face did feel smooth after using it.1
I have sensitive, uneven skin tone and was very excited to get this product in my box. I knew that since it was such a small sample I wouldn't see dramatic results, but I was hoping to see something. But I didn't. And it really broke out my skin. I tried the mask 2 additional times bc I wasn't sure it was the mask that broke me out, but after the two additional applications, I know for sure it was the mask. I am super disappointed because I loved the way it felt on my skin and would totally purchase if it didn't break out my skin and actually showed results.1
I tried this a couple of times. It doesn't seem to tighten or even and just kinda makes my skin red and splotchy which might be normal for an AHA peel but they aren't for me.1
My skin is both sensitive and dry, a combo that just doesn't respond well to the toning/exfoliate/tighten regimen. I had a break out and a lot of redness after using this product. While it's not for me, I must say that there is zero scent, which is great for sensitive skin!1
I've never used a peel before so I didn't know what to expect . . . It smelled OK, it didn't smell very strong. It didn't make my face burn or anything, it seemed very gentle, but I don't think that it did anything. My face did feel slightly tighter for a brief period afterwards.1
This caused a ton of oil to come to the surface of my skin and caused breakouts.1
Another fruity smelly expensive I'm not interested in using. I used for a few days and wasn't impressed. It is exfoliating, but that's the nicest thing I can find to say about it.1
I have extremely sensitive skin and while I know this product is marketed toward sensitive skim, I know what works for me and anything else usually makes my skin freak out. That being said, I still gave it a try being optimistic. The initial mask was great, slightly tingling. However, the next morning the sides of my face and chin were covered in a breakout. I will not be using this product again.1
