Until recently, sensitive-skinned girls had to steer clear of at-home peels for fear of ending up with red, angry complexions. All that changed when Juice Beauty released this version of their powerful Green Apple Peel. Suitable for even the most delicate skin types, it delivers visible smoothing results after just one use. This patented, award-winning formula peel is made with a gentle yet effective dose of organic, fruit-derived hydroxy acids and raw sugar cane, which exfoliates to reduce breakouts and even out skin tone. We love how the mild tingle lets us know this peel is really working.
I am unable to use products that smell like green apple. For this reason I wasn't able to enjoy this product in anyway. I am sure however, that if there was a different smell I would have enjoyed it.1
I heard peels are very bad to use. I am not going to mess my face up.1
I initially had high hopes for this product. The description sounded good, the packaging was nice, and it smells really good. Then, when I tried it, after about 2 minutes the tingling turned to burning and my face was now red and irritated. Then the dryness triggered extra oil production and a white head breakout. I'm sticking to manual exfoliation from now on. No matter how gentle chemicals claim to be, they're all horrific.1
This says "sensitive" but it made my face burn. I have extremely sensitive skin and I thought this would be nice to try but it left me with a lot of redness and discomfort. I had to wash it off immediately. The only thing positive I can say is that it has a nice smell.1
It was nice to try a peel for the first time, and this product does smell great. Problem is, it is pretty useless in my opinion. It really did nothing for my skin. I wouldn't purchase it.1
I am a diehard Origins skin product user but I am always up for giving something I try. I wasn't at all impressed by Juice Beauty, I think it smelt cheap and almost sugary. Not something I was to put on my sensitive skin.1
Don't be fooled by the "sensitive" in the name; I have sensitive skin and this does not work for me at all! The "tingling" is more like a burning. After just a couple of minutes, I noticed that it was making my face VERY red and irritated so I had to wash it off.1
I have very sensitive skin and when I put this product on my face it began to burn. I was only able to keep it on my face for about 3 minutes before I took it off. It also pulled a lot of stuff up causing breakouts after I used the product.1
Will never try another face cream like this again! I thought since the packaging listed "sensitive" that it would be OK. But boy was I wrong! My face stung for quite awhile after I rinsed it off. Then, my face broke out horribly for about a week. NOT OKAY!1
I was super excited to see a peel for sensitive skin when I received this in my box this month. However, apparently it was not sensitive enough. First of all, it burnt when I put it on, and then, I got MAJOR breakouts a day or so later. Also, I didn't really see the promised results either. Not impressed. At all. Won't be purchasing.1
