Until recently, sensitive-skinned girls had to steer clear of at-home peels for fear of ending up with red, angry complexions. All that changed when Juice Beauty released this version of their powerful Green Apple Peel. Suitable for even the most delicate skin types, it delivers visible smoothing results after just one use. This patented, award-winning formula peel is made with a gentle yet effective dose of organic, fruit-derived hydroxy acids and raw sugar cane, which exfoliates to reduce breakouts and even out skin tone. We love how the mild tingle lets us know this peel is really working.
Hard to apply, dropped all over when I opened. Didn't feel any difference on my face.1
smelt like cardboard, didn't work, and wasn't even a peek off. not a fan1
I love products designed for sensitive skin, but I think this one went too far and did absolutely nothing for my skin. It just felt like an extra step in my routine that didn't really have an effect.1
This product was super liquidy and did not work at all. I usually love juice beauty products but this did not do it for me1
This product is almost like water. There is nothing to peel. I had to wash it off like cleanser.1
the consistency was like water and there was almost no smell, but the little scent it had wasn't good. I followed the directions and I don't feel like it did much of anything to my skin.1
When a product is labeled as a peel, I guess I assume I might have to peel it off. However- this product was a thin liquid so it was hard to "apply a generous amount". It did not smell good-- very chemically.
Now I read that it may cause tingling/flushing -- it was more burn like for me & made me panic being so close to my eyes.
Why a product claiming to be for sensitive skin would be ok with that sensation baffles me & also that it possibly makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Yeah, no thank you.
I opened this and shook it to get it out expecting it to have some substance to it and it went everywhere! I was not expecting it to be as runny as it was, especially for a peel. I felt like i couldnt get an even layer because it was so thin. Im not a huge fan of peels but because of the consistency, I will not use this despite the outcome. Very unsatisfied with this :(1
It's watery and smells strange.
This says on the package it may cause 'flushing and prickling'. As soon as I put this on, my skin turned bright red and started burning. I figured that they probably said prickling as a lighter term for feeling like you were burning your skin off.
This bottle says to leave it on ten minutes, for me it burned the whole time. After I washed it off my skin was hot to the touch and stayed that way for a while. It only stopped when I put aloe on it.
My skin didn't feel smoother or look better. In fact the only difference I saw was larger pores and small acne coming to the surface.
For me the product isn't worth the pain or lack of results
not sure how this is supposed to work soon as I peeled off the sticky cover for use liquid went all over my leg with out even squeezing the tube UGH! ok I still gave it a go but even after applying or trying to apply on my face it was just too liquid like I didn't see any difference with my skin or texture etc. but I think even if it did leave my skin feeling good it just wouldnt work for me due to the consistency of the product, you end up wasting too much of it, birch box sent a decent size but due to this I believe half of it was wasted :-/ also the scent is not my thing I can't even say what it smells like but is deff. not green apple or anything fruity... I usually love what I get in my monthly box and when It doesn't work for me I can give it to someone who ends up loving it but this one was a total fail1
