Until recently, sensitive-skinned girls had to steer clear of at-home peels for fear of ending up with red, angry complexions. All that changed when Juice Beauty released this version of their powerful Green Apple Peel. Suitable for even the most delicate skin types, it delivers visible smoothing results after just one use. This patented, award-winning formula peel is made with a gentle yet effective dose of organic, fruit-derived hydroxy acids and raw sugar cane, which exfoliates to reduce breakouts and even out skin tone. We love how the mild tingle lets us know this peel is really working.
This was an interesting peel, to be fair I've done one before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The amount in the container wasn't enough to cover my face, unless it's supposed to be extremely lightweight and sparse.1
The texture of this was a clearish liquid, very difficult to apply. It dried clear like nothing was on my face and then washed off like nothing ever happened. Save your money!1
Texture is like water, I spilled more than I got on my face. Product doesn't have a smell, I thought it would smell like apples. Little to no peel effect.1
the smell is off putting and the texture on your face is weird. It made my face very very dry and made me break out terribly the next day
Left my face red, irritated, and extremely sensitive. I do not like.1
I was excited to try this, but I'm sorry to say it didn't work out. First, it felt like my sample tube was only half-full. The product that was in there was thin and watery. It was hard to get on my face (and certainly not in the thick layer recommended). It stayed sticky, and after washing it off my face felt plasticky. There wasn't even an apple scent, as I'd hoped there'd be. Overall, I wasn't impressed.1
I started to shake the bottle and realized how liquids this product was. Too much or not enough comes out when you squeeze the bottle. It went on like a face wash and I wasn't sure if I got enough of an even distribution of the product on my face. It left me face nice and smooth but not a peel I would purchase and I love to try any mask or peel.1
Though it had an OK scent it came out as a liquid and was very hard to apply. I could barely feel it working and I chose to rinse it off after having it on for only five minutes instead of the recommended 101
This peel has a very liquid consistency which makes it a bit difficult to apply. I didn't notice much of a difference after using this. I followed the directions on the packaging exactly but my skin felt and looked the same after I rinsed it off. Maybe you need to use a couple of times, but I think there should be some results with the first use.1
I have had this sent to me in one of my Ipsy bags before and was stoked to try it out. It gave a burning sensation on my skin it was very uncomfortable and also broke me out. So although it may work for others it didn't for me. I hate having picky skin :/1
