Some girls feel naked without a coat of lip gloss, but we refuse to step outside without wearing a touch of eye makeup. Happily, this gorgeous shadow palette is there for us whenever we need it. With twelve shades ranging from a shimmery taupe to a midnight black, it makes it easy to experiment with an infinite spectrum of looks.
Nothing is more frustrating than getting a palette of eye shadows only to discover you will really only use half of the shades. Not so with theBalm NUDE'tude Eyeshadow Palette. All the colors are interchangeable and go easily from daytime to nighttime with a quick swipe of a color. The brush that comes with the set it fairly lame, but is useful for lining and adding a tiny pop of highlight to the inside corners of the eyes.
The colors are soo pretty I love this! The only negative thing I have to say is that when I put it on it gets all over my face (oops!) but now I'm just to just cleaning it up. The colors are really great in this set.4
This is a fun palette of shadows for the everyday and evening look. I would recommend using a primer with this product.4
Pigmentation is pretty good, but there's nothing special about this palette. It's just another garden variety neutral palette. If you need a neutral palette, this would be a great option though I prefer the Naked palettes or Lorac Pro over this one.4
This has a lot of great colors to choose from. Colors can be used to compliment each other. This is a great palate selection and great variety of colors.4
I have brown eyes and these colors work well with that! Im not sure how it would be if you had bright blue eyes, but i digress.. The only suggestion I have for this product is that it should have more of the lighter colors because I always use them as a base before applying the darker colors towards the edge of my eye. So yeah, the Balm should make the light color squares larger because they get used more!4
I usually buy the Stila palates for travel but find the dont have enough options. The Balm nude palate is perfect. I recently took it on a trip and had all the options I needed to go from day to evening. The shadows are pigmented nicely, blend well & have staying power. I use eye primer & found the shadow stayed put all day. I used the darker shadows as liner and brow color. I even used the light pink as a highlighter on my face & it was lovely.
I am only giving 4 stars because the packaging unnecessarily large. It is too big to fit in an average makeup bag. I had to wrap it separately for fear of it breaking in my luggage. I hope they will consider scaling this down a bit so that it is portable - the product itself is really fantastic.
I am really glad I picked up this palette. The color selection is very unique, has very good pigmentation, and good staying power. I gave it 4 stars because I think that using a primer is pretty essential for this palette. The formulation is just slightly too powdery to go without a primer. They also have a tiny bit of fall out. Overall, very pleased.4
I have the beloved Urban Decay Naked palette and this looked like a very similar one for less $$. So, actually, the colors are not quite the same but I think I like this one more. The shadows are soft and give good coverage. The darker colors work great as a liner. I'm really happy with this purchase!4
I never tried this product before, but was happy I have it a try. I love the palate of all of the colors and it goes on very smooth!4
