Some girls feel naked without a coat of lip gloss, but we refuse to step outside without wearing a touch of eye makeup. Happily, this gorgeous shadow palette is there for us whenever we need it. With twelve shades ranging from a shimmery taupe to a midnight black, it makes it easy to experiment with an infinite spectrum of looks.
I have to say that I love this palette, it was one of my first bigger purchases and I even took it on a trip once, it's a pretty good go-to for nude based looks. There's a good-ish range of light to dark shadows but not enough mid-range colors in my opinion. Sultry is a matt brown and is sort of the only real crease shade in this palette, so while it's very nice in pigment and color, variety is where they sort of dropped the ball. So while I did take this on a trip I also brought a smaller matt quad with me too.
There's a large mirror and a small brush but it's not like the one on the package which I always found odd. It's an okay brush but not great, you can use it but I'd suggest it not be your main brush.
These eye shadows apply flawlessly and effortlessly. It goes on smooth and blends easily. The color payoff is fantastic and the tones are super versatile.5
I bought this on a whim and I am oh so happy I did! The colors are very pigmented and blend perfectly. I actually like this palette more than both of my urban decay naked palettes. The colors can get flakey at times but if you use a light hand it's not as bad.5
although the included brush is useless, this product is a great essential to your makeup collection. the shimmers are very workable and have great color pay off5
What an awesome palette of colors that are right for any time day or night! I love the cool way it is packaged and I love the way the colors look and how nice the color goes on and stays on! Just awesome!5
This eyeshadow palette has a nice aray of colors. The product goes on smoothly. I use the darker colors for eyeliner, and they glide on nicely. I've bought cheap eyeshadow that you couldn't even see nor would go on nicely as an eyeliner without appliying more on about five times. You apply once as an eyeliner and it goes on deep and noticiable. I recommend this palette to anyone.5
This palette is perfect. (Can I just say first that theBalm packaging is always first rate? Because it is. I want to work for those people in their package design department.) :D Now, we all know that fancy packaging can often hide disappointing products, but I have never, ever found that to be the case with theBalm. I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to use anything but the lightest colors on a daily basis, but I found that while these are super pigmented, even the darkest shades will go on light if you just want to add a touch of depth to your look. These go with almost anything and I love that I don't have to think too much about matching tones when I'm bleary eyed and half awake before work in the morning. There's also a good mix of light shimmer vs. matte shades. Large palettes tend to turn me off for the most part because even if I like the colors only about half of them ever really work for me or my wardrobe. But good nude shades? Those are and will always be classic.5
I don't own this product yet, but my personal make-up artist and one of my best friends have this palette. I would totally purchase it in a future because it makes you look stunning :D.5
I had been looking for a nude palette and finally decided on this one. I love the design of it, with the drawings of the "naked" ladies on the inside. And I love every single one of these colors! They are easily blend-able and the shimmery colors are not overly glittery. They last all day with a primer and have very little fallout. I use this palette every day for my day-work look and I love it. I am so glad I opted for this one. The only negative is the brush that comes with it; it is pretty much useless.5
I'm enjoying this eyeshadow palette. The colors are fun to experiment with and go on very smoothly. They're also very rich.4
