Acne-fighting cleansers have a tendency to take their aggression out on more than just blemishes, resulting in angry, dried-out skin. Before you start World War Z (that’s z for “zit”), keep the peace with this acne-fighting face wash. Packed with all-natural, antibacterial ingredients, it gently removes built-up oil and debris to help unclog pores and clarify skin, all while reducing redness and healing breakouts.
Acne face wash without the over drying. The botanicals help calm and inflammation from breakouts and does not over dry.5
I was looking for an all natural/vegan face wash, that would still help keep breakouts from happening. I saw this on birchbox.com and decided to give it a try. Even though it is a bit more pricey than drug store face wash it is TOTALLY WORTH THE $. I have been using this almost every day for a few months now. I noticed less (almost 0 ) pimples or zits or even blackheads. Skin looks smooth and clear, and it is not overly drying. Also, even though I use this 1-2x a day for 3 months, I still have more left in the bottle. I am sold on the derma e brand and want to try more of their products.5
So, I received the Brightening Cleanser and saw an quick difference in my skin. I decided to try the Brightening serum, which helped to get rid of some of my acne scars and dark spots. I'M IN LOVE with this brand... I've since ordered the Acne Cleanser and the Brightening Day Cream. I've been alternating between cleansers and use the serum and cream every night. It's really done wonders for my skin.5
This is a great cleanser for blemish prone skin. It helps keep my skin clear and washes away dirt, sweat and shame. lol. I use this maybe every other day along with the moisturizer to keep my skin balanced. I5
I recently tried this acne cleaner and I really like it. It got rid of the oil without leaving my face feeling dry and flaky. It helped in reducing redness.5
Funny smell but I can tell have a week that I have fewer break outs and it prevents new ones5
The price isn't bad. I haven't seen any difference just yet, but I am hopeful. I definitely like not having to pay over $30 for a cleanser. I feel like all acne cleansers are pretty much the same as it has the same ingredients like salicylic acid/benzoyl peroxide.4
I've been using this for 2 weeks, and I haven't seen dramatic results. Scent is very strong, but that is normal with tea tree and lavender oils. Usually antibacterial cleansers work well for me, and I am trying to avoid triclosan and switch to more natural antibacterial ingredients. It hasn't improved my blemish problems (blemishes are still there, no better, no worse), but I do agree that it helps reduce redness and my skin is less oily. It can be drying, but I always use moisturizer after cleansing anyway. Hopefully this product just needs more time with my skin.4
I use one pump of this a day it has lasted about 3.5 months. I still have some left ordering before I'm completely out. The scent is not terrible, but its not perfumy either. I could not get rid of my acne around my chin until I used this for a week I noticed a huge difference.5
This cleanser didn't lather very much for me. I know lather doesn't necessarily equal cleansing power, but it left me feeling underwhelmed. The scent was nice and light though!3
