After a while, winter feels like an endless rotation of boots, booties, and the occasional sneaker, a drag for ladies who love shoes the way we do. Needless to say, we’re thrilled when sandal season arrives—but a quick peek at our feet tells us they aren’t even prepared for peep-toes, much less flip-flops. Luckily, this system from Clarisonic will shape up feet in no time: It exfoliates from heel to toe while softening skin to prevent future rough patches, supplementing (or even replacing) professional pedicures. What’s that about a beach trip? We’re ready to stick our toes in the sand.
I was so excited to try this device and once I got it home I realized that it did absolutely nothing. Completely ineffective.1
I admit it, I am obsessed with having pretty feet.
But I am not a fan of getting pedicures. I think they are too expensive, I always worry that the shop may not sterilize their tools properly, and I end up bringing my own products anyway since I am picky about lotion ingredients and polish colors and brands.
So when I learned that Clarisonic had a Foot kit, I was willing to pony up the money and give it a shot.
I've had it for a month now and I am very happy with it.
The charger attaches to the handle magnetically which makes it small and easy to use - I think it is a big improvement over the stand that I use to charge my Clarisonic face brush. I keep the charger, handle and heads in a basket when not in use, and it easily charges on my crowded bathroom shelf when it does need a re-charge.
The instructions say to use the brush and scrub daily and the metal exfoliating head a couple of times a week. If you started out with a lot of callouses, that is probably a good idea. My feet were already in pretty good shape, so I use the brush and scrub every other day and the metal head once a week.
The products are also great - you get a scrub, a minty balm lotion, and a super charged serum for tough areas - I use and like all of them.
The system works great on areas that I've struggled with in the past - it easily keeps the areas around my heels smooth, and got rid of weird rough patch on the bottom of my big toes that I get from living in flip flops during the summer. The brush and lotion are a great combo to smooth and hydrate any dry areas.
This tool is very powerful, so go easy the first few times that you use it just to see how your feet react to both the strong scrubby brush and the metal disc.
This is seriously the best thing to happen to my feet in years - it is quick and easy to use, very effective and my feet always look like I just got an expensive pedicure.
This is actually something that is worth the high price tag. It *works* and will pay for itself by replacing any regular trips to the salon for a pedicure.
My favorites from the set are the Pedi-Boost Peel and the smoothing disc. The peel really helps to penetrate and soften and absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky or greasy residue like I thought it might. The smoothing disc tickles a bit to use but really works to get rid of calluses and roughness without the dangers involved with other shavers and files.
The whole process is enjoyable and effective. Highly recommend! Use your birchbox points or offer codes to save on the price but it's definitely worth the investment.
It has really been a transformation! My painful fibromyalgia always has been a huge problem but once I bought this kit . Thankfully the callouses on my heels are forefoot are no longer painful after 48 hours of use. My mama has remarked on how soft my feet are. So each of us weekly do a girls sleepover and Well worth it ffor each other and nail polishes here as well are the best . I love you birchbox thank you so much, there's no pain and lots of relief and beautifully done feet toes , feels so soft on my feet without having to go get a pedicure!5
I work out daily and walk miles in heels and boots. I got this as a Christmas gift. I used the callus remover and then the daily scrub. My feet feel softer after one use and look much nicer. The instructions were very clear and straight forward and made it do.5
This seemed a tedious process at first, but definitely see major results. Dry, cracked heels are softer. I am a clarisonic fan, so I've added this to my "sonic" product family5
I love the clarasonic lines and i swear by the face brush as i use it almost everyday. Although i was not impressed by the Pedi. Yes it does make your feet feel smoother and rids of dead skin but i think if you have callus or anything extreme this will not do the trick.
I have the Clarisonic face and thought the pedi version would be equally great. I wear heels a lot and have some callouses on the top of a few of my toes. I was hoping that the peel product would take care of those. I've only had it for two weeks so I might be premature in my rating.3
It has really been a transformation! My painful callouses on my heels are forefoot are no longer painful after 3 days of use. My husband has remarked on how soft my feet are. Well worth it for pain relief and beautiful, soft feet without having to go get a pedicure!5
I have a clarisonic face brush and use it daily and love it. I also take good care of my feet and get regular pedicures which can be expensive, so a 20% off deal prompted me to buy this as a way to cut down on time and money. I think if your feet are in pretty good shape to begin with, like mine were, this will do a great job maintaining them therefore eliminating pedicures, or at least cut down on them quite a bit. I use both the smoothing disc and the buffing disc and the pedi buff, pedi boost, and pedi balm every few days. That takes about 30 minutes, so that's all I have time for, plus its something you can do when you have time, not when the pedi place is open. You can see the skin coming off with the smoothing disc, and my big toes, balls of my feet and heels are smoother after four uses. The buffing brush isn't that exciting, feels nice with the pedi buff exfoliant, but not sure it produces results like the smoothing disc does. The pedi boost and balm are nice products, although not sure I will buy the products when they run out. Will definitely go with a replacement smoothing disc in the recommended six months. If you like having nice polished feet, go for it on a 20% off opportunity and burn some points! It will keep up with maintenance for sure.4
