Of all the things we expect out of an SPF, pleasant smells fall in the “unlikely” category. That’s why we were so happily surprised to discover COOLA’s citrusy sprays, which get their refreshing, natural scents from ingredients like orange peel, pineapple, and cucumber fruit extract. Made with a 97% organic plant inactive formula, the sunblock goes on clear and the convenient spray application helps us reach all those nooks and crannies we’d miss otherwise. Great for all skin types, it’s a must for summer.
This sunscreen has an amazing fragrance, but the thing I like best about it is it's not at all greasy or sticky. Goes on easily so input it on in the morning and I'm protected.5
This sunblock works wonders. I love the easy spray application. It lasts for a long time and it really does protect. I work as a riding instructor and stand in the middle of a sand riding ring for 4 hours a day and this sunblock keeps me protected. Highly recommended!4
I used this recently on a trip to Barbados and loved it. The smell is so-so (like alcohol as with most spray on sunscreens) but it applied easily and didn't require me rubbing it in. I didn't get burned at all (as long as I reapplied) despite spending hours in the water and sun. My big pet peeve with this product was that it only lasted me about half of my one week trip (reapplying about 2-3 times a day depending on how much we were in the water)5
I use this sunscreen daily. I love that it's made in California with organic products. The smell isn't great but I've tried all the similar products from other manufacturers and they all smell the same...like alcohol. This sunscreen goes on easy and doesn't leave a greasy film. My only problem with it is the shape of the can. Another brand I've used has a can that is thinner at the top and easier to spray using one hand. This can is a little big for smaller hands and I can't easily spray all over my body. I have to anchor the can against by body and spray the sunscreen into my hand and then rub it in. I have to use 2 hand to spray on my shoulders.4
I've ordered this again and again. It is the ONLY spray I've found that actually doesn't leave little droplets on my arm hairs and that you don't have to rub in for a long time. To me- the spray was supposed to keep me from having to get my hands all greasy rubbing. It smells nice, but light so it is not perfuming you. I find it works for a long time on me. With that said, I DO go through one bottle after two uses- making it expensive. But I love it so much I couldn't reduce a star.5
It's an easy spray bottle and it is 50spf. It is unscented!5
This is a great product, but you need to be generous when applying, and reapply according to the directions. Love having a more natural sunscreen!5
I love the convenience of a spray and this is a light feeling, pleasant scented organic sunscreen. Nice, easy sun protection5
This sunscreen smells amazing, it keeps my skin feeling hydrated, and it is hands down one of the best sunscreens I've used. I don't burn easy and I definitely don't when I use Coola5
I was looking for a dry touch sunscreen because the moisturizer that I love doesn't have any SPF in it. A lady at Sephora recommended this one. She asked to spray it on my face to show me how it felt.
I should have had her just spray it on my arm because it immediately stung my eyes, and began irritating my skin. While I was checking out with a few other things, the sales lady looked at me worried and said "did someone try something on you?". By the time I got to my car my face was red and splotchy. I felt like I had an itchy film on my face. I used some face wipes to try to remove it, but had to fully wash my face once I got home. Its 4 days later and I am still trying to get my skin to calm back down.
I have never had my skin react so badly to a product. I do not have sensitive skin at all, usually anything will work on me, but this absolutely did not. From the other reviews I have seen, it seems to work fine on other people. But you might want to test drive this one in a small patch to make sure your skin doesn't mind it.
