We’re always on the hunt for our next favorite hair color. When we finally find it, there’s no way we’re letting that perfect caramel (or copper, or maybe chestnut?) drip down the drain the first time we lather up. This shampoo seals color to strands and protects it from shade-altering UV rays. What’s more, the nourishing formula undoes damage from coloring, styling, and other treatments, so our new hue can truly shine.
This shampoo is fine but it's hard to tell if it is good at preserving color with such a small sample. I did not like the smell either.3
It's pretty standard shampoo and conditioner didn't do anything overly special.3
I really did not care for the scent of this and it took 2 washes to get my hair clean. For some i guess that means it's mild but to me its just time consuming and tedious. Performance was just ok. I won't be purchasing.3
I didn't find this shampoo all that impressive. I hated the scent, too herby.3
My hair felt nice after shampooing and I did like the accompanying conditioner, however I did not care for the fragrance of this shampoo. That's really the only reason I would not purchase the full-size product. I appreciated the generous sample sizes and wouldn't hesitate to try other Madison Reed products.3
The smell is not appealing. My hair felt off after using and I had to wash my hair sooner than I usually do. I have coarse curly hair and usually wash my hair every five days, I had to wash after two!2
I couldn't get passed the string fragrance after using. I didn't like that aspect. The product was satisfying setting the scent aside.3
I didn't see a huge difference in my hair, no point in changing shampoos3
This shampoo was okay and it smelled good. Good for color treated hair which is good. I love the shampoo I already use so probably won't change.3
This might work incredibly well to help hair color last, but the bottles are so small - one use - that it's impossible to tell if the "color protectant" varieties actually work or not.3
