If you're wondering how often well be reaching for this broad-spectrum sunscreen this summer, the answer is right there in its name. It's rich in antioxidants to repair and nourish skin (while blocking UV rays to prevent further damage). The oil-free formula instantly absorbs into skin for breathable, nongreasy protectionmaking it ideal for times were planning to work up a sweat but light enough for daily wear—and since it's noncomedogenic, it doesn't clog pores. Plus, its scent—a subtle botanical fragrance with hints of citrus and basil—beats the typical sweet, pseudo-tropical sunscreen smell any day. The bottle has a pump for easy dispensing—and its large enough to last us many sunny days (and share with less-prepared friends).
I liked the product at first but my face became very flushed and even hurt. This was the only new product I tried, and all other products were a part of my normal beauty routine.1
As someone with a *very* fair complexion, I have tried a lot of sunblocks and sunscreens over the years and this one just did not impress me at all. I didn't like the smell at all (but to be fair, I do like the smell of regular sunblock so that could have something to do with it). Also, maybe I just got a bad sample, but even after shaking it up before opening it, the product seemed to have separated in the tube. I'm willing to pay more money for a better sunblock (I use Shiseido often) but this just is not worth the price for me.2
I love some of the other products from this brand but found this one a bit heavy for my oily skin. Putting it over my makeup wasn't really an option and under my makeup it would make my skin slippery and my foundation would go on patchy. I ended up using it for my neck/chest and arms, cuz I hate wasting products.3
this one is great, but the one that matche your skin tone is evenbetter. i believe both of them i got through my BX box, i really love how smooth it goes and its non-shiny. great that it brings SPF and the color really adjusts to your skin!4
I tried wearing this under my make-up and it was too oily. I would probably just wear this on the weekends with NO MAKE-UP3
I went to the beach just the other day and put Supergoop! on my face before heading out. I am pretty hesitant with putting products on my face because they usually make my face very oily but this one didn't. In fact, not only did my face refrain from becoming oily, my face actually felt pretty soft and the best part - my face didn't burn! And I have pretty fair skin. I was very surprised and definitely happy. Needless to say I have been using it every day since to keep me from sunburns!5
I did not enjoy this sample at all. The one day I used it I got FRIED. I didn't feel like it worked as well as the sunscreen I usually use.1
This smells like your typical sun screen. I didn't find it amazing, but I also didn't find it bad. It's somewhere in between.3
This sunscreen is totally worth the price. Sinks in immediately, no greasy feeling afterwards, has a wonderful lemon basil scent. I wore it to play tennis twice a week at noon in the hottest part of the summer and sweating never caused a problem - full coverage, no prickly pain on my face, and zero sunburns.5
I loved that this sunscreen left my skin feeling soft, without leaving it greasy at all, like some sunscreens. I received this as part of my monthly subscription and used the small sample right away. However, I think the price is a little much and I won't be purchasing the full size- I think $48 for 18oz is a little steep :/3
