If you're wondering how often well be reaching for this broad-spectrum sunscreen this summer, the answer is right there in its name. It's rich in antioxidants to repair and nourish skin (while blocking UV rays to prevent further damage). The oil-free formula instantly absorbs into skin for breathable, nongreasy protectionmaking it ideal for times were planning to work up a sweat but light enough for daily wear—and since it's noncomedogenic, it doesn't clog pores. Plus, its scent—a subtle botanical fragrance with hints of citrus and basil—beats the typical sweet, pseudo-tropical sunscreen smell any day. The bottle has a pump for easy dispensing—and its large enough to last us many sunny days (and share with less-prepared friends).
I liked the product at first but my face became very flushed and even hurt. This was the only new product I tried, and all other products were a part of my normal beauty routine.1
As someone with a *very* fair complexion, I have tried a lot of sunblocks and sunscreens over the years and this one just did not impress me at all. I didn't like the smell at all (but to be fair, I do like the smell of regular sunblock so that could have something to do with it). Also, maybe I just got a bad sample, but even after shaking it up before opening it, the product seemed to have separated in the tube. I'm willing to pay more money for a better sunblock (I use Shiseido often) but this just is not worth the price for me.2
I liked how it smelled - natural, summery. It wasn't too heavy or rich of a cream so it absorbed into my skin easily. However, I don't know if it's something that I would put on for daily use.3
Used this for the first time on a cruise. Light and effective.5
The sunscreen goes on heavy and oily. It gives a good white cast. But it does protect against the sun really well. I used it for the beach and did not get burned.3
I love sunscreen samples in the summer. I found that this was great for an afternoon at the beach, it wasn't greasy and seemed to work well.4
With the name goop, I was surprised that it was actually thin, not to heavy for my face.5
I do love the feel of this product, and how it doesn't leave a white cast on your face. I just don't think it is anything special. It did it's job, but not much more.4
I have a love/hate relationship with SPF products. I love the protection, but hate the film many leave on my skin. Supergoop was really good in that I didn't feel in on my skin, which is what I want in a SPF product. It also didn't have a bad odor, which is another thing I hate about these products. I'd rate Supergoop's SPF product highly based on using this and previous products I've used.5
I gave this four stars cause I'm not a fan of the price. But I LOVE the smell and feel of it. I hate putting on typical sunscreen but I had no problem wearing this one all summer, even on my face! Only suggestion: Wear liberally or you could still get sunburned.4
