Red carpet regulars all share one secret: their reliance on these durable sticky strips to keep wardrobe mishaps at bay. Hollywood Fashion Tape® lets you wear your favorite statement pieces with confidence by keeping pesky straps in place, shortening hems, and securing plunging necklines. After all, any paparazzi-phobic celeb will tell you that not all exposure is good exposure.
I think Hollywood Fashion Secrets® Hollywood Fashion Tape® is something every women should have in her closet. You never know when a shirt or a skrit will not lay according. These are almost as your go to bobby pins when you need help in certain area. I have tried this product on a shirt that was not laying correctly. The product lasted well; I would want to try the product again for longer than just a couple of hours.3
This product seems great but I don't really have a need to use them... and if I did, I don't think I would remember to use fashion tape. If I were to use it in the future it would be to hold fabric on a button up shirt together.3
The only piece of tape I found useful was the special occasion tape with its curving action. All the others did not work as well as regular ole Scotch double sided tape.3
This wasn't really what I was hoping to find in a beauty products sampler -- I like silky hair products, things that smell nice, or colorful makeup. Not tape. But it did work well with my steampunk pendant, keeping it taped to my chest for a day instead of flopping around and facing the wrong way. If I could get the tape for free, I'd always wear it with that pendant, but it's not essential enough for me to buy.3
I've always wanted to try fashion tape. I'm so glad that this was included in the birch box3
The idea of the product is great - it's so much easier than stitching or pinning clothes that need to be hemmed or risk slipping. I'd love a worry-free solution to these problems, but Hollywood Fashion Tape ended up working for only part of the day both times I tried it. I used it to hem a pair of pants, and the tape held up through my interview but ended up relocating by the end of the day. I had the same result when I used it to keep a high slit in my skirt from showing too much. It may have been because of the type of fabrics I was using it with, but I wasn't impressed, and will probably stick to using pins when I need a quick fashion fix that will hold up.3
I liked them, but I haven't decided yet if they are really better than just double sided tape.3
I have experience with "fashion tape", but I find peeling it off of the skin when done undesirable. I do find it useful for closing the gaps between buttons, but double sided scotch tape would suffice there...3
I've used other double-sided tape so I wasn't too excited to see that I received some in my March box. It was fairly sticky, though it didn't hold all night when I used it.3
Not something I need regularly, but very helpful when wearing something that just isn't quite falling right. Made good use of it at the office, when wearing a wrap blouse that just wouldn't stay in position well enough. One piece did the trick.4
