The folks at stila clearly got the message that two heads (or, in this case, ends) are better than one. Armed with both a rounded edge and a pointed tip, this dual-purpose sponge makes it easy to apply makeup without any telltale streaks or clumps. Now show us a cotton ball that can do that.
This sponge is great. It leaves my complexion smooth with very little effort. My BB cream and foundation look clean and well blended.5
I love the fact that is not a bulky large sponge, and is soft enough for the delicate eye area. Currently I have used it to blend my contour powder makeup and the highlight shimmer around my lower brows. It blends nicely. I have also used it to blend my bb foundation creams to get a smooth finish, however I have not yet tried the sponge wet. What attracted me to this sponge was the price. You get the same thing that an expensive sponge gives you.5
At first I thought this was a lot of hype. But upon using with my tinted moisturizer, i am sold!!! I love my sponge and the fact that all i have to do is clean it with the soap already on my sink is wonderful. No more breakouts due to a dirty sponge or brush. Love, Love, Love!!!5
I've had this about a week now and haven't had any issues with splitting or tearing, maybe there was a bad batch? Either way - I love this. It blends everything beautifully and easy to use and clean.5
i purchased this still double ended blending song because it had a reasonable price and i end it up loving it. i use it everyday. its a must have5
I was really looking forward to this product. Overall, it does the job but started to tear after first use. I now use it intermittently to avoid it from completely breaking.2
I am still trying to learn just how to apply it with my loose foundation powder. It seems to go on smooth but it also absorbs and waste a lot of the makeup. Not that easy to get round the corners either.3
I really liked this sponge - I felt that it worked better than the other blending sponges I've used.
I notice that it doesn't hold as much water to squeegee out but I also don't believe that it needs it. As the directions suggest, the sponge just needs to be slightly damp.
I recommend this sponge, even if you're a novice blending sponge user (like me!)
I was so excited for this sponge, and ended up disappointed. I decided to try out my sponge for the first time while getting ready for work. It worked wonderfully! I love the edged tip so I can do more precise blending.
Unfortunately, while I was at work, it started to crack. It has one big crack on one side, and small hairline fractures are developing on the other side. It's way too fragile, considering that it did nothing but sit on my vanity all day.
I am a low maintenance, no real effort make up person. I don’t care about “tools” to apply foundation, but I now know why they have tools. Buy it! Works so much better than the Kabuki brush I have. It is also less spongy than I was expecting and more rubbery spongy (If that makes sense). Definitly worth it. Easy to use, easy to clean, makes things look smooth and in the right place. It is one of those items I did not know I needed. I will look into more tools now!5
