Niche perfumerie Arquiste believes that scents can serve as a form of time travel: each of their debut fragrances is meant to evoke a specific moment in history. A bright blend of citrus and other fruity notes, L’Etrog captures the aromas of a family harvest celebration in medieval Calabria, Italy. Developed by famed fragrance designers Rodrigo Flores-Roux and Yann Vasnier together with Arquiste founder Carlos Huber, it’s sure to please even the most discerning noses. And though the scent takes it cues straight from the history books, we love how the luxe glass bottle feels distinctly modern.
The first thing I thought when I applied this is that it is clearly a woman's perfume. I have tried it for a few days and I am on the fence. I do like the scent but I am on the fence about it.3
This is a nice smelling fragrance, and it lasts quite a while before having to re apply. I don't think it matches to my personality/PH, but I like the smell in general.3
I thought this smelled just fine. It wasn't outstanding, nor did it smell bad, just OK. BUT there is NO way it is worth $165. I can't imagine ever paying that much for a fragrance unless it had hypnotic powers that made everyone that smelled it fall in love with me.3
This product neither stands out in a great or negative way. It is a pleasant smell but is not so great that I'm running out to buy it now.3
This scent was just not for me. It was real musky. I tend to lean toward a lighter scent.3
It smells nice but is just not for me. Its herbal and woodsy and I am more of a girly girl.3
The scent wasn't for me, although I will say that it seems to last a long time.3
Pretty scent, but I'd never spend the money. It's not thaaaaat special.3
I thought this smelled good, but it is not for me. I would purchase this for my mother or someone older. I normally use younger scents, but I will consider this fragrance when I get older.3
I like the cologne overall. It has a nice scent and doesn't seem too overpowering. I am turned off by the simple tube and plug top sample packaging.. I would prefer a spray sample, seems like it would give a better idea of what a real bottle would smell like. But from what I could tell it smelled clean and fresh. It's a good cologne but I would replace any of my current ones with it.4
