Niche perfumerie Arquiste believes that scents can serve as a form of time travel: each of their debut fragrances is meant to evoke a specific moment in history. A bright blend of citrus and other fruity notes, L’Etrog captures the aromas of a family harvest celebration in medieval Calabria, Italy. Developed by famed fragrance designers Rodrigo Flores-Roux and Yann Vasnier together with Arquiste founder Carlos Huber, it’s sure to please even the most discerning noses. And though the scent takes it cues straight from the history books, we love how the luxe glass bottle feels distinctly modern.
I loved the smell of this perfume. Many of the samples I smell remind me of my grandma. This one did not. I am a fan.4
Nice scent, but stronger/more pungent than I fragrances that I usually use. Also more expensive than I prefer to pay for a fragrance.4
Very unique scent...would love to have in my collection!4
I love the way this perfume smells!! A small dab has a big impact. I do, however, think that it could be a little stronger so that lasts longer.4
It was a very interesting scent, not flowery or sweet. Too expensive tho.4
This product smells very, very good! Its a nice floral scent that is light and not harsh at all.Though i think it is a bit expensive.4
I really like the scent but would not spend the money on it for myself. But if someone wanted to buy it for me....4
Great citrsy smell, would be great for an afternoon scent. I don't think it's an evening smell. Made me feel very fresh and awakened.4
such a clean, sophisticated and feminine scent. loved my sample, just wish the product wasn't so expensive!4
When I opened the sample bottle (I would recommend a spray type sample bottle rather than the lid kind) it spilled quite a bit on my fingers / hand so there was a bit too much spillage which made my initial introduction to this scent a bit overwhelming, yet it immediately calmed and the fragrance was heavily, reminded of tall glass of lemonade on a hot summer day, refreshing, cool, enlightening. But after a few hours that pleasant aroma seemed overly perfumey to me, or on me. So all that said I would absolutely recommend this scent to anyone that likes citrusy clean smells. It just didn't gel with my chemistry which completely bums me out because I am looking for a new signature scent.4
