French fragrance designer Annick Goutal took inspiration from Italy for this iconic citrus scent, which launched in 1981. Bright and effervescent, the universal and timeless blend conjures up the image of sun-ripened fruit in a Tuscan orchard.
This smelled AMAZING! It was very citrusy and great for summer. I got to use it once and then spilled it all over my carpet :(. I will be purchasing a full size soon!5
This was way too heavy for me. It was so overpowering, I could have never worn this anywhere, nor would I have wanted to.1
So far, GREAT! My initial reaction was, wow sour, but now I love the citrus scent! I've had several perfumes that smell of lemons and this will fit in perfectly with them!5
AMAZING. I can't tell you how much I love this stuff. I don't have the best ways to describe perfume (always reminded me of how wine was described... just tastes like wine to me) but I adore this scent. I am bummed that it does not stick around longer, it seems to be all but gone by mid-day. I will probably purchase the eau de parfum (not available on Birchbox.com) rather than the eau de toilette for this reason. Glad to have finally found a 'grown-up' scent that I adore, rather than the vanilla bodyspray that I normally fall back on.5
I do nto usually wear perfumes because the smell gives me a headache. This one is light and smells wonderful. I put it on the day that I recieved it and got several compliments on it. Even my husband who after 20 years of marriage commented on how nice he thought it was.5
You can really smell the citrus. I think this is a nice fragrance, just not my style. I definitely have friends who would like it that I might consider buying it for.4
Loved this little sample. I think it smells very light and not too overpowering.4
Not a bad product, will try to remember to order when supply of perfumes get low.4
Eau d' Hadrien from Annick Goutal is the perfect summer fragrance! It reminds me of a lemon grove in Tuscany! I feel so elegant when I wear this fragrance. It is a very understated, bright , citrusy fragrance. I love it!!5
The smell is a bit strong and acidic for my liking. I usually go for much softer, gentler scents.3
