In a perfect world, we would jump out of bed sporting frizz-free ‘dos and not a single hair would be out of place. This botanical-fortified shampoo helps us get one step closer to achieving our utopian fantasy. The brainchild of Beverly Hills stylist Nick Chavez, the creamy gel is made with plant ingredients to hydrate hair as it gets rid of impurities. Whether you’re battling dry brittleness or wild frizz, it will leave your strands voluminous and full of life.
I think this shampoo would be much better suited to someone who washes their hair everyday. I can--and do--get away with washing mine twice a week, but when I used this shampoo, my roots were already looking limp and greasy the next day. I tried it again, but used it on all of my hair rather than just the scalp, but I got pretty much the same result. After two bad hair days, I'm going to give this away. Because I flat iron, I'm not willing to wash more often.2
I didn't find it horrible, but I also didn't find anything special about it. It didn't leave my hair feeling amazing so that I would actually consider buying it.2
I thought, since the product requires that it be massaged into the scalp, that I might get oilier than usual. I spent quite some time rinsing it out of my roots, but my hair still managed to look like it needed a good cleaning almost a day later.2
It didn't help with frizz at all. In fact, I thought my hair was frizzier after using it.2
This shampoo does basically the same thing as my herbal essences shampoo, yet my shampoo is only around $5. I mean I like this shampoo, but there's no need in buying it for 4 times as much as my normal shampoo. The good thing about this though is that it smells AMAZING :)2
Did not care for this product. There wasn't really anything wrong with it, but there wasn't anything special about it either. I prefer Biolage shampoo and conditioners.1
This product contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate, therefor I can only really comment on fragrance and presentation.
The fragrance is great-- a clean, gender-neutral scent that isn't too overpowering.
Packaging is very clean as well. Calm colors, and all the directions and ingredient information are listed clearly.
Sadly, no shampoo-- regardless of how great it smells-- is worth a head full of red welts. I'll try to find someone who can give this very generous sample more love.
I did not like this shampoo at all, it was really drying to my hair and scalp but I tend to be really sensitve to shampoos. I would not recommend this product, it just did not seem mosturizing and it felt like it was stripping of color and moisture from my hair.1
rather disappointed with this product, not much moisture left in my hair after rinse. left ot dry ; (1
Personal peeve - but I hate getting just a shampoo sample without a coordinating conditioner, because I can't tell if I don't like the shampoo or if the shampoo just doesn't agree with my conditioner. That said, my hair felt worse then usual using this.1
