There's a major difference between a dewy complexion and an oil-slicked face, which is why we're working hard to find products that cure the latter. Our latest acquisition? Peter Thomas Roth's Max Anti-Shine Mattifying Gel, which features an advanced roster of powerful oil-absorbing and pore-minimizing ingredients. We love how it absorbs shine and controls excess oil without stripping our skin's natural moisture barrier. Plus, it keeps our makeup from sliding down our faces midday, which is a miracle in itself.
I have an ultra gift card! This product worked for me and I let my mom try it and she loved it. It's great4
Minimized my pores. Feels good on the skin. I may purchase it, but a pore minimizer is not in my current daily routine.4
I don't have a large shine problem but am considering purchasing this product for this summer.4
I really like how this keeps me from looking super shiny! It feels a little weird on my skin, but a little goes a long way and it really works!4
i love mattifiers love the texture and i reallly will want to b looking more into the line.4
I love the texture and the finish of the gel, it helps the foundation glide on the skin very nicely.4
Yay!!! I needed some of this! I do get very oily later in the day and this product, although only used for 2days, is GREAT. I still have to apply powder, but not nearly as much as before. Thanks.4
I was really excited to try this when I got this in my box because I have a very oily T-zone especially when it gets hotter outside. It's great if you're only wearing your make up for a few hours. The all day thing didn't work for me. I got oily. I would recommend a stronger product which I have yet to find!3
I liked this stuff - very easy to use and lightweight. It just was not strong enough for my super oily skin. I used one bottle (which lasted forever) but will ultimately stick with the mattifying product that my dermatologist recommended - I just wish Birchbox sold it!3
I liked the silky feeling this gave my skin, but I really don't think it did much for shine-control. In fact, I think my blotting sheets came out more oily on the days I used this product than the days I didn't.3
