Dirt sources its ingredients straight from the earth, so it’s no surprise that their signature body scrub is wholesome and downright appetizing. It polishes your skin while replenishing lost moisture with a blend of fine salt particles, fruit extracts, and essential oils. Both varieties smell sweet and pack plenty of exfoliating power—lemon leaf has a slightly coarse texture and is laced with raspberry seeds.
I love the packaging for the product, but I did think for a scrub it was a bit small for a sample. You could really only get one really good use out of it, maybe two if you only have a few places you would need a scrub for. It was a little runny for a scrub I thought, I have always used really thick scrubs and the smell was good, but the lemon was very overpowering. If I get some I would go for a different scent.3
LOVE the smell and the overall way my skin felt after using this product, but was disappointed that the exfoliant dissolved so quickly.3
The salt melted too fast to properly exfoliate, but it smelled wonderful!3
I felt like it was too greasy on my skin. While I showered and lathered this on my skin it gave a good scrub but afterwards it left an oily residue on my skin even after I washed it off! It smells like lemons, and that was okay.3
Well I am honestly not a person who uses scrubs, I hate the gritty texture that sits in the bottom of my bathtub after using them. The lemon scent is nice though - it smells very clean. I like the feel of it on my hands (that's where I tested it) and I feel it would work well on the body based on my hand-test.3
I loved the way this smelled. I didn't really feel a difference in my skin after using it, and it left my skin greasy.3
I love, love, love the smell of this product. It's very clean and zen like, but I cannot honestly say it's worth the price. I've used other, less expensive, salt scrubs that work just as well. Also, I've made my own at home.3
When I first opened this sample I was really excited, as I definitely need a good exfoliating scrub for summer. I opened the container and liked both the texture and smell-- at first.
Once I used the product, however, I wasn't as thrilled. The pieces of salt and raspberry seed are too big, and so don't really stay in one place to scrub (they disperse too easily, instead of working into the skin). And after the first whiff, the smell started to remind me of lemon-scented wood cleaning products. Not particularly attractive. And lastly, rather than leaving my skin feeling smooth, it left it feeling really greasy and unpleasant. I had to actually use soap and water to wash it off, and it still felt a little icky.
Overall, it was okay, but not worth $45 for the full size product.
This product smells amazing! And I love the all natural ingredients.3
small sample to grasp full effect of the scrub but seemed to exfoliate really well.3
