For natural, unfussy waves, nothing beats a dip in the ocean. But short of moving to the Caribbean, theres no way to recreate that look at a moments notice—or so we thought. This two-in-one spray adds texture and shine to our hair, allowing us to create a piecey, tousled look minus the stiffening effects of salt water. Oribe's special Beach Wave Complex uses hydrolyzed wheat protein, vitamin B, copolymers, and amber extracts to pump up each hair shaft and add wavy texture. Meanwhile, a mix of moisturizers, including safflower seed oil and marigold extract, heals dry ends, and galanga root extracts contribute a natural dose of UV protection. It's suitable for all hair types, from superfine to ultrathick, and also safe for color-treated or processed strands.
This product did nothing for my hair other than leave it flat, limp, and looking dirty1
The product smells great, but that's about as great as it got for me. I actually have wavy hair, so I am always looking for new products to enhance the waves without making them look and feel crunchy. This actually seemed to straighten out my waves somehow. It felt more like hairspray, making my hair a little dry. Smells fantastic though!1
I'm not smart enough to use this product effectively. I have long done hair that is very difficult to get curly. I followed the directions and most definitely did not get the advertised result.1
This didn't have any significant effect on my hair. The aerosol was powerful enough to blow my hair all over the place, but still didn't give my that be achy look :)1
Not impressed. At all. This is nothing but hairspray. I have no idea where they put oils in to nourish hair, because my hair looked dry and gross when I applied this product. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.1
This did now help my hair what's so ever. I have fine frizzy hair and trying it so many different ways it still did nothing to my hair. I guess I just need to give up on beach waves for me lol.1
Although this spray smells good, it's not for me. I have dreads so I really have no use for this product.1
I feel like this product has been mislabelled. The only thing it did to my hair was make it smell - and not good at that. I was hoping to get some texture with it ... but my smelly hair went limp and straight.1
They should note that this doesn't work well on thick straight hair. Instead I had to wash it out because I just couldn't get it to look right. It made my hair stiffer than I imagined it would since it says it will be soft in the description and I got no waves even after trying to roll my hair up. I'm hoping to get some waves or curls from something but this looks like it won't be it.1
A shine spray is something that is usually very light weight & can be added after your hair is dry without being sticky or like a hairspray. This was very much like a hair spray in texture & in use. Did nothing for my hair except make me wash it days sooner.1
