We’re willing to put up with a lot for our tunes: We’ve waited in ridiculously long lines, packed into sweaty crowds, and gotten covered in bugbites at outdoor shows. But with these headphones from Skullcandy, we don’t have to choose between great sound and creature comforts—and with its stylish patterns and hairstyle-preserving headband, we even look good, to boot.
I have an inner ear issue that makes me unable to wear ear phones or head phones that create a tight seal. I find these to be very comfortable and they have a nice sound. While they are not noise canceling, they are noise blocking.
I think the color is cute, I got the floral pattern, while not being too juvenile. The little bag they come in is nice and I'll certainly be taking them with me in my carry-on bag during my next flight.
The only issue I have is that the volume control on the cord feels a little cheap, but it looks nice with he coordinating colors.
I would certain recommend these for a mid-priced pair of basic headphones.
I was expecting the world from these headphones, considering the price. I wasn't disappointed, but I wasn't overwhelmed either. They are very stylish headphones, complete with a matching bag to fit inside your purse, should you not want to look like a DJ with headphones around your neck. I mean, they aren't Beats, by any means, but they are very comfortable for long wear. Also, if you get them, just know that the cord is in the side pocket in the bag. When I got them I almost returned them thinking it was missing.4
Sound quality is fine - typical of what you would expect from Skullcandy. I love the design (floral) and the cup part is a brown/light tan color even though some images online come up as looking a little orangey - no orange here! I took off a star because the ear cups are MUCH MUCH smaller than expected. Almost daintily, funnily small relative to the loudness of the print and the size of the headband portion. I bought these with the intent of wearing them at work. But, after an hour or two the cups start to pinch the upper part of my ear. I've tried adjusting the where the cups sit relative to the headband portion but its still definitely pinchy. Overall, fairly disappointed I spent $100 on these but not disappointed enough to make a return.3
