It took us a while to learn how to draw inside the lines, but our childhood addiction to coloring books is finally paying off. These user-friendly chubby lip pencils are a goofproof way to lasting, moisturizing color. A cross between a stain and a gloss, each gel-based tint goes on sheer yet stays true for hours. The wearable shades include peaceful, a beige-toned neutral tint; lucky, a soft pink matte tint; and joy, a juicy peach tint. Naturally, our favorite is amused, a bright fuchsia tint.
I love this color for when I am ready for a different color then what I normally wear. Goes on smooth and lasts.5
The color was tough, but I did like this product- especially when paired with a lip balm or gloss. It has staying power, but (as is often the case) gets a bit dry. I wore it around the house and ended up buying a different color since I liked the formula!4
I loved the smell and feel of this lip stick. It's a matte color but applies smoothly and stays on. I really liked it but the shade wasn't right for me. Either way I still enjoy trying it on.4
I love everything about this lip tint - the saturated color, the moisturizing qualities, how long it lasts, how easy it goes on. Everything! It's my go-to when I need a punchy magenta that lasts all night and it's super shiny.5
LOVE this! have repurchased several times - lots of color, easy to apply, doesn't try out your lips. For people who don't like the pressure reapplying lipstick perfectly but want more color than a gloss!5
I really wanted to like this lip tint in lucky, but it's too difficult for me to wear. Maybe another color would have been better for me, but the soft pink of lucky looks completely unnatural, like pepto-bismol pink, and settles in the creases of my lips and makes them look super dry (not like matte dry, like peeling lips dry). I have tried exfoliating my lips before using this and wearing it over and under balm, but I still end up with my lips looking so dry with weird pink creases around them. I had to toss it, which is sad because I normally really like tarte products.2
i don't usually like matte lipsticks but this one didn't feel drying on my lips, although it was definitely matte. the color stayed on for hours and left a strong stain so that i did not have to re-apply. i'm definitely going to buy more now.5
i received the color 'joy' and i love it. it's moisturizing and long lasting - two things i look for in lip products. it's easy to apply and i love that it's a twist-up.5
I have to say, I was not convince when I saw it was a lip stain or lip gloss for that matter. I dislike wearing lip stains they tend to dry my lips out and lip gloss can be too much at times. Then Tarte Peaceful blew me away. Peaceful is a pink/nude color that I just love. I can wear this all day and my lips will not feel dry at all. I actually feel my lips softer. Definitely, one of my favorite products.5
I liked the color and I like the brand's mission, but I felt that it was too dry on my lips. I put it on and was immediately reaching for a moisturizing lip balm to put on over it. I felt like I was putting on lip balm every 10 minutes to counteract the effect this had on my lips. If they make it more moisturizing, I would definitely buy it.3
