You're a complicated lady. You aren't only your city, your family, and your job: You're also your love of solo bike rides, your scrumptious (and totally secret) recipe for triple-chocolate brownies, your dancing-in-your-seat roadtrip playlists. Likewise, your hair defies pat description: It's a blend of textures, each curl a bit different than the last. This styling lotion is designed for all of them, giving you a frizz-free, manageable, and utterly you head of curls. This smooth formula is loaded with safflower oil and olive fruit oil to tamp down frizz without weighing down strands. It gives hair a sleek, more uniform curl while adding gentle, anything-but-crunchy hold.
My hair is by definition multicultural and I have several different textures in my head ranging from loose waves to tight curls. My hair is dry and tends to frizz as I live in the tropics. I generally need a LOT of moisture. So I bought this hoping it might do some good and I was happy to say that it did! I initially thought it might be a bit heavy as my hair felt a little weighted down and coated on the first day. But it was beautiful in the second, third and even fourth day! And I never get pretty day 3 hair far less for day 4. My hair was soft, hydrated, and my curls looked lovely. I give this product a thumbs up. It works really well for me.5
I have thin, wavy hair. I've tried countless mousse and salt spray products to get that curl but its always either too heavy on my hair or makes my curls crunchy. This gave me a soft, pretty curl and I loved it! It doesn't take a lot. I get compliments every time I use it! I would definitley recommend it!5
I have been using this product for about 6 months. The best think is that it doesn't weigh curls down. I use it more from mid shaft down. This product does not create crunchy curls and I will definitely buy it again.4
I have thick curly hair and with this product I have bouncy curls and no frizz. I like that it isn't sticky or heavy. Really happy with this product and will definitely buy it again.5
Was good moisturizer fo rmy hair. i really liked htis prodyc. was pleasantly usrprised by how it worked on frizzy hair4
I'm a white woman with frizzy waves and this stuff is amazing. Perfect amount of gel and cream, I love it. I do need to use a curl cream on top after my hair dries to add more definition, but this product is a must in my cabinet. One caveat - it has alcohol, which I find to be a bit drying, especially for curls. I don't use this every day, but probably 4-5 times a week. Great stuff.5
I did't really like this too much. There was too much fly away hairs, like I hadn't used anything. In the shower it felt wiry & was not easy to rinse out, I was washing my hair everyday. It smelled nice like all Miss Jessie products.2
My daughter has VERY dry, curly hair and this stuff worked amazing on her hair!! I re-purchased it twice and really need to purchase it again! You won't be disappointed in this product!!!5
I do not have multicultural curls. I have white girl curls and so my fair is very fine and easily weighed down. This was a bad product choice for my type of hair.2
Okay so I am multicultural. Mexican/Filipino/+5 other dashes of other ethnicities. I have kinky, curly, wavy, and mixed textures in my hair, and I have a lot of it. My biggest concern with my hair is taming frizz and keeping my curls together. On my best days I have a natural finger wave at the top of my head that transitions to ringlet curls, with this product I kind of halfway achieved that once. It made my curls soft, loose and somewhat manageable.
However! Since that one time this product has not worked for me. My hair was frizzy and the curls wouldn't stay together. I tried applying more but that just made my hair look greasy and made my hair cling to my head.
I've heard people rave about this line of products but so far I've tried this, Jelly Soft Curls, and the leave-in Condish. None have worked for me and I'm not a fan of the scents.
