We never paid much attention to our hair ties before Twistband came into our lives. Now we can’t go anywhere without one (or three) of their snag-free, super soft elastics. They keep hair secure without leaving ugly creases behind, and look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytails. These colorful collections come with twelve ties, so you’ll always have plenty of spares on hand.
I have a lot of hair and I don't use my Twistbands often because I don't trust them not to break or to be able to hold my hair in anything more than a pony or to hold the end of my braid. Also I do not like how they are knotted.1
Kept sliding down my ponytail. Disappointed, so I don't use it.. I liked that it doesn't pull your hair, but maybe cause my hair isn't thick, it just wouldn't hold.1
I have thick hair, and this twistband can't even hold a portion of it up.1
Great idea, flawed execution. My hair kept coming loose...couldn't twist it around a third time, and re-knotting the band didn't help, either. I have really straight, fine hair, so maybe it would work better for somebody else, but not for me.1
I guess I don't get it. This is stretch elastic tied in a knot. I have gobs of this in my craft room. I guess I can cut some, tie a knot and proceed to sell it for $10+?1
I received mine new with a tear already in it. It does not stay in my hair. It looks cheap, and it is clearly of very poor quality. I would never buy.1
This is my first twistband it wasn't too sturdy for my curly hair. I have to use it with another twisty.1
I did not find this hair tie to be extremely secure, and would not repurchase for the hefty price of $18 dollars. They do look cute as a wrist band though.1
I was seriously disappointed in these, as I read the reviews before I received these in my Birchbox. I have long, thick blonde hair and these were a wreck. First, I couldn't even wrap them twice around, so I loosened them, and even when they could fully hold my hair up they were uncomfortable and did not stretch enough to really be a great band for all my hair. Disappointing, and I cannot recommend. I actually threw them out :(1
I wanted to love this, it was a pretty silver color, one I didn't have. I make my own and was excited to see how a 'real' hair tie felt but I was thoroughly disappointed. I've been using the same three hair times since the beginning of summer and they've only now become unattractive and unruly. This twistband was unusable after three uses.1
