We never paid much attention to our hair ties before Twistband came into our lives. Now we can’t go anywhere without one (or three) of their snag-free, super soft elastics. They keep hair secure without leaving ugly creases behind, and look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytails. These colorful collections come with twelve ties, so you’ll always have plenty of spares on hand.
I was super excited to get one of these as I've heard about them for quite some time. Imagine my disappointment when I realized they pretty much are useless except as a wrist accessory. I have very thick, coarse, Asian hair and it did nothing to help keep my hair pulled back. I'd rather get my Goody's hair ties for $3 at Target than another of these, even if it is for free.1
I prefer tight ponytails, and this product does not offer that. I wish it were more elastic-y to hold my hair better.1
I got a grey one in my box, so it really wasn't even that pretty. It didn't hold my hair well - way too loose. It stretched out within 2-3 times of trying to wear it. I definitely wouldn't spend money on this or even go out of my way to wear it if I got it for free again.1
Unfortunately this product feel apart after two weeks of everyday use. I really liked it (obviously because I used it everyday!) but was upset that it unraveled so quickly.1
I have thin hair and I use very thin elastics, which I wrap around my thumb. I know most people rave about these hair ties but I prefer not to have something large around my wrist other than bangles or a watch.1
Hair tie is cute, and I love the array of colors, however the one in my box was just a boring brown. I wore it often but it stretched out quickly and the ends fray and need to be trimmed. It also got twisted easily and never really went back to the nice flat shape in the picture.
Furthermore I'm confused as to why the price is listed as $18 for me, but in a review posted less 7 days ago was listed as $16 for someone else?
I could tie some elastic into a knot and put it in my hair for the same result. This product actually made me laugh with disbelief.1
I use mine from time to time. The end frays really bad and I find myself trimming the ends often. This is not a product that I would spend $16 on.1
I almost overlooked this little brown thing in my box. It's a piece of elastic tied in a knot - really? Not even any pretty beads or decoration on it, or even finishing on the ends. It doesn't look cute on your wrist - it looks like a hair tie on your wrist. It worked OK, but I sure wouldn't buy these - I'd make my own first.1
the knot came undone after just 2 days, and then the whole thing began to unravel. Otherwise, it was a little too loose to hold my pony tail. The good thing was that I could tie it back together, and adjust where the knot fell to fit my pony tail better.1
