We never paid much attention to our hair ties before Twistband came into our lives. Now we can’t go anywhere without one (or three) of their snag-free, super soft elastics. They keep hair secure without leaving ugly creases behind, and look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytails. These colorful collections come with twelve ties, so you’ll always have plenty of spares on hand.
my daughter received one of these in her birch box and again could not believe that this counted as a product. it rates right up there with the baggy and the folded card stock. fail...1
It;s a cute idea, but not for me. It didn't stay in my hair at all since my hair is so thin. Definitely a cute idea though1
I have short hair so these don't work for me. However my daughters tried them out. They don't hold the hair tight enough, they keep slipping. Even if they did, they are too pricey for what they are. Could go to the fabric store and by the elastic and make several dozen for what they want for one dozen!1
Unfortunately, I have very short hair and was unable to use the hair tie. The tie was recieved in good condition and was very cute, but I couldn't use it.1
I was excited to try this hairband, as I've seen them around more and more. Unfortunately, it looks like these bands were made for a specific type of hair that isn't mine. I couldn't get the band to hold my hair securely, and it didn't stretch enough to force the issue.1
These are really just craft store elastic with a knot tied in the end. I have very this hair and these always left a bump and always slid out really easy...not impressed!1
I am unable to use this product. I have short hair and it does not fit into a ponytail. I gave this to my daughter in her 20's and she said the product frayed and did not hold up after one use.1
Honestly, this is a waste of money. If you wanted these twistband hair tie you are better off going to a craft store and buying the ribbon and tying them together in a knot. I don't understand why you would pay so much for these simple hair ties. I go this a sample and used it once or twice and its already stretched out. I perfer the Japanese rubber bands that you can make your own size or simple rubber bands made by Scunci. They are better quality rubber bands than this twistband.1
I was excited to find this colorful hair tie, but I was not able to use it! My hair is very thick and I think this was designed for girls with normal to thin hair. I appreciated the design (it is cute to see it tied - a very old look) but the fabric is so slick that the knot comes undone too easily. I would suggested finding a new material and to test this out with women who have heavy hair.1
It reminds me of the bra strap headbands that everyone wore in high school. I REALLY hate solids, so I think if it was in floral pattern it would be much better.1
