Visible lip liner is one of our biggest makeup no-nos, but finding a shade of liner to match each lipstick we own is a near-impossible (not to mention pricey) task. Problem solved with Lipstick Queen’s genius clear liner, which goes on invisible and matches every pigment under the sun. It helps you create a super-precise lip and stops bleeding lines. Plus, the self-sharpening mechanical tube is a major improvement over traditional pencils.
This is one of my favorite birchbox discoveries. The opportunity to use this liner with any color already makes it amazing but because it's clear, the product has the ability to be thicker and a little more waxy for better staying power. You can slather it on outside your lip lines to make sure your color wont bleed out, and you don't have to be as precise as you do with a colored liner. All in all, everything I've ever wanted in a liner. And you'll never see it smudge!5
If you're a lipstick lover, this is a must have. Keeps lipstick in place all day. Goes on smoothly and precisely. My only qualm with this product is that because it's clear, its hard to ensure you've made the right outline on lips. To counteract this I make shorter feather-y marks.
Just recvd this by UPS ! Went straight to the mirror and I lined my upper lip, applied my darkest lipstick color and Whoooaaa ! This works !!
So happy this worked as well as I was hoping !!! I will always keep one in my purse and the other with my stash of lipsticks and lip glosses.
I purchased this thinking it'd be an ease into lip liner, something I've never used before. It isn't exactly invisible, for one. It sort of caked up around my lips and made it very clear that I was wearing foundation as there was no seamless distinction between face and lip like I was hoping for. The product also broke off in pieces during the process, no matter how lightly pressed. This was definitely a waste of $18 and I will likely never purchase from this brand again.1
I love the brand Lipstick Queen and have at least 7 of their lipsticks. I was looking for a lipliner to go with all of them to stop bleeding and help the mattes last longer. This seemed to be ideal as I wouldn't have buy different lipliners to match each color. So it does work for bleeding, and the color does stay on longer, but it is very dry, and almost seems to crumble when I put it on. It is also a very fine tip that drags and is hard to fill in your whole lip if you are using it for the purpose of helping lipstick hold longer. I'm still on the hunt for the perfect clear lipliner!3
This product works but I would prefer a flesh toned liner that creates a cleaner look.
I think this product would be good for aging lips that suffer from lipstick bleed into wrinkles. My aim for liner was to make a defined line in winter when my lips are slightly chapped.
I got this in the mail today, and I am already in love only down side is because its invisible it is hard to know if you got it in the right place. Helped my lipstick last all day with little reapplying.4
i use lip liner to define and accentuate my lips. this liner does neither, i didn't get the definition i do with colored lip liners. it did, however glide on smoothly if you're looking for a more natural look. just not my style2
I actually don't see any difference in lipstick or gloss seeping down into the fine lines around the lips, unfortunately. Maybe I am supposed to reapply more often, but that's a nuisance.3
This is so smart. And wonderful. And wise for anyone who applies lip color-- either to themselves, or clients! I think I've found my new, staple product5
