Dads and younger brothers alike dig this dapper scent. Housed in smoky glass with a spring top reminiscent of a vintage beer bottle, John Varvatos’ cologne, like his designs, exudes a combination of off-kilter downtown cool and elegant prep. Also available in a 3.4 oz version.
Not really for me since my husband doesn't wear cologne, but I did share it with a friend who wears a similar fragrance.1
My partner wasn't crazy about this- too crisp and English Flannel-like for his taste.1
I was thrilled to see a little present for my lovely husband. Unfortunately we both kind of hated the scent. It had a really astringent, chemical-ish quality. For him, not a great product, but I loved that there was something for him in there!1
I really hoped my husband would be interested in the cologne, but neither of us cared for the scent.1
This was AWFUL. I'm not a fan of a lot perfume/cologne to begin with (I'm really picky there, and enjoy things like Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab oils rather than perfumes/colognes). This was for a man - I'm not a man. To me it just smelled like all those people who put too much fragrance on that then give me a headache...eek!1
i let my boyfriend try this out and he wasnt impressed with the smell and i personally dont like the fact that even though it was a sample it didnt spray which makes it hard to take the cap off without spilling it everywhere.1
My husband does not wear cologne, so this was not used. Will try to find a friend to pass along too. Would rather had another "extra".1
i shared it but he did not like it. i would have rather had something for myeld hehe;)1
I'm not a fan of most traditional male colognes, or commercial perfumes in general. I prefer essential oil blends. If Birchbox ever offered a customization feature to opt out of a category of sample items, I would pick perfume for sure. I passed this sample on to another woman who was interested in checking it out.1
My husband LOVED this scent and he is difficult to shop for1
