This is the Jack Bauer of bar soaps. Unlike less manly versions, this exfoliating bar takes a forceful approach to dry and dead skin, sloughing it away with gritty oat bran and kernels. You’ll feel clean and refreshed, ready for whatever the day throws at you.
Didn't like the smell of it and didn't like the way it felt on my skin.1
this is an amazing bar of soap. feel very clean, lasts a good while. 2 stars, because it is waaay overpriced as far as soap goes. i don't think it is worth spending the money on!2
My husband didn't like the graininess of the bar (prefers non-exfoliating). Love the scent though :-)2
I'm not too keen on this soap bar. It doesn't smell great and is not as functional as a shower gel for instance.3
Does rough the skin up a bit as it should but I find it wanting. Has a menthol-y smell and is a very large bar. It is a good exfoliator but dried out my skin. Not a fan.3
Great scrub that leaves your skin feeling refreshed. Typically use it 1 or 2x per week, anything over that is too much. Good value for the price as well as the stuff lasts forever.4
This soap is great for a scrub every once in a while, really helps you feel like you're getting the grime off of yourself. Don't scrape too hard, it can get sharp! Smell isn't overpowering, doesn't dry you out.4
Good, all around exfoliating soap, with the classic peppermint Kiehl's smell. Keep it on a separate shelf so you don't accidentally scrape it across your chest one morning...4
This soap is great. It's very different than most bar soaps you might be used to, but it lathers up really well, scrubs you clean and keeps you hydrated and smelling fresh.4
I wanted to purchase my favorite Bloody Orange Jock Soap, but they were out of stock. Probably because it's awesome. So I tried out this soap instead.
The soap smells amazing. I read another review somewhere that this soap smells "like a basement in Vermont" and it does in all the right ways.
The granules in the soap are great for making my skin nice and smooth like a baby's bottom. Who doesn't want that??
One thing I might mention in criticism - the soap does tend to leave my shower quite slippery until it's all washed away. Not a huge deal to me as I quite enjoy the chance to slide around like I'm in some sort of one-person mini shower hockey tournament, but still. Be careful. Don't fall down.
I'll be getting this soap again!
