Professional Japanese mountain climbers use this all-over moisturizer to keep their skin protected when they're scaling Mount Everest, so you know there must be something special about it. Invented by a pharmacist back in the 1950s, Yu-Be has been Japan's top-selling skin cream for over 50 years. Great for head-to-toe hydration, it helps with all forms of stubborn dryness, including flaky red skin, chapped lips, and callused feet. The natural formula is free of ingredients like artificial dyes, fragrances, and petrolatum. It's so gentle that even infants and kids can safely use it.
I tried this product with an open mind. I really wanted to like it. The problem with this moisturizer, is it is meant for individuals who have super dry skin. I happen to have oily skin and this leaves me feeling oily all day. And then there's the fragrance. Oi. Sort of like BenGay meets my face. No Thanks.1
I found the product a bit greasy for my taste. It's advertised as a cream, but it seems oiler than a cream to me. Not a huge fan.1
I did not like the smell or consistency of the cream and I did not find it moisturizing. Overall, I gave the sample away.1
I hated this cream. Is this for your face, your hands, or your lips? The texture was like vaseline. I would just buy vaseline instead of spending the money to use this.1
I hate this product! I used it on my hands and its really greasy and I then I smell like a men's locker room afterwards! I gave it a shot and have used it several times to see if it would grow on me and sadly it didn't. The moisturizer part is decent, I think it really gets in there and hydrates, but I just cant get over the strong smell.1
This cream smelled like Carmex, which I was not a fan of. It did a nice job of moisturizing my hands though, but I could not get over the smell.1
I hate the smell and taste of this product. I don't like the way it feels on my skin, and I don't find it to be moisturizing on my extremely dry skin. However, I also can't use it on my lips because the taste is so terrible. It's disappointing because so many other people like it and are experiencing awesome results. I guess something in it just doesn't agree with me.1
I rarely throw away unused samples because I can just give the stuff to my friends if I don't like it- but this went straight in the trash. Sticky, smelly, and just completely unpleasant. It does the same as Vasoline, just for 8x the price.1
This is not my favorite thing I have received in my box to say the least. The smell and feel of the moisturizer made me actually throw it away after the first try.1
I agree with Megan. Too greasy and smelly and did not rub in. I would not use it as a moisturizer.1
