Professional Japanese mountain climbers use this all-over moisturizer to keep their skin protected when they’re scaling Mount Everest, so you know there must be something special about it. Invented by a pharmacist back in the 1950’s, Yu-Be has been Japan’s top-selling skin cream for over fifty years. Great for head-to-toe hydration, it helps with all forms of stubborn dryness, including flaky red skin, chapped lips, and callused feet. The natural formula is free of ingredients like artificial dyes, fragrances, and petrolatum. It’s so gentle that even infants and kids can safely use it.
This cream had a very medicinal smell and was very greasy. I am not sure how moisturizing it would be, the smell was so bad I had to wash it off immediatly.1
The product was this custardy-yellow color when it came out of the tube, and when I applied it to my hands the first thing I noticed was its strong medicinal odor. It turned me off at first, but I figured I'd still at least give it a try. As for its moisturizing properties, I didn't notice a significant difference at all in the dryness of my skin. It was nothing too special that would prompt a switch in products for me. Would not purchase or recommend.1
This product just smells terrible. It is nothing more than glorified vaseline, and it has the texture and smell to prove it. I was not satisfied with this item.1
I didn't like the smell neither the texture of the cream. I would definitely not buy this. I would prefer if it wouldn't smell like menthol.1
This product did absolutely nothing to me, it created a weird film and didn't absorb. Probably synthetic ingredients? It doesn't smell too nice either. This was a miss.1
The is a ok product and not a must have in my beauty bag. The smell is to much like medicine.1
the texture and the smell of this product are not for me at all! i really don't get this product.1
Will not try this one again. Smelled bad, but liked the pearly appearance. I liked how thick it was, but I tried it on an eczema prone area and it actually burned and I had to wash it off. I must be sensitive to something in it.1
UNSATISFIED, ONLY BC IT MADE MY SKIN BURN REALLY BAD!
I DECIDED TO GIVE IT TO MY HUSBAND AND HE HAS NO ISSUE WITH IT!
Was kind of excited to try this as a hand cream (especially in December) - but it started to burn and made my hands very spotty & red. Pass, please!1
