Professional Japanese mountain climbers use this all-over moisturizer to keep their skin protected when they're scaling Mount Everest, so you know there must be something special about it. Invented by a pharmacist back in the 1950s, Yu-Be has been Japan's top-selling skin cream for over 50 years. Great for head-to-toe hydration, it helps with all forms of stubborn dryness, including flaky red skin, chapped lips, and callused feet. The natural formula is free of ingredients like artificial dyes, fragrances, and petrolatum. It's so gentle that even infants and kids can safely use it.
This cream was much too thick for me to use as a regular moisturizer. It felt like a thick stick residue was left.1
I kept this little sample in my pocket whilst skiing this Christmas. It did an amazing job keeping my face and lips moisturized and chap-free amidst harsh conditions. Similar in consistency and effectiveness to Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream.5
The moisturizer was very light and worked well on dried out parts of my skin, although it does smell like Carmex. Would not recommend as an every day skin moisturizer.4
Love the way this felt on my hands. They were so sore and chapped but feel amazing after one use. Not greasy but hydrating! Will be buying!5
I will use it on my lips, but that's it. I wouldn't put it on my skin, almost like a Vaseline consistency.3
While I agree that this makes skin feel amazing, the smell is so unpleasant that I just can't get past it. It is truly terrible.3
This product comes in a tiny tube, but you'd be surprised at how long just a little drop can go. This thick, dense skin cream is rich and is perfect for moisturizing super dry skin. I love the smell and the texture is almost vaseline like. I will definitely be purchasing the full size to have after I finish my sample.5
Maybe it's just me but this product has an odd smell to it that wasn't pleasant. That enough makes me never want to purchase it.2
It's been a never-ending search for a lotion that will help my dry hands during the winter months--and I think I finally found it! At first I was very turned off by the smell and was ready to move on just from that, but thankfully the smell faded very quickly and I was left with smooth, hydrated skin--through several hand washings! I haven't used this for anything but my hands since the sample was so small and I didn't want to use it up too quickly haha! Definitely plan on buying!!5
Initially I was a little turned off by the unattractive orange and white packaging. Also, the smell is kind of strong, but it also smells like rosemary and is kind of nice. I used it on my face at night, and my skin felt very supple in the morning. A little goes a long way, so in preparation for the long winter I think I'll be purchasing a tube.5
