Professional Japanese mountain climbers use this all-over moisturizer to keep their skin protected when they're scaling Mount Everest, so you know there must be something special about it. Invented by a pharmacist back in the 1950s, Yu-Be has been Japan's top-selling skin cream for over 50 years. Great for head-to-toe hydration, it helps with all forms of stubborn dryness, including flaky red skin, chapped lips, and callused feet. The natural formula is free of ingredients like artificial dyes, fragrances, and petrolatum. It's so gentle that even infants and kids can safely use it.
This stuff doesn't smell great, and isn't as effective as they advertise. It was just ok, nothing I would go spending money on.4
This cream was great for my super dry hands. I also put it on my face in the evening. Its a great moisturizer. I will be ordering this product4
My face is very dry and sensitive. Normally moisturizer burns me, however this one did not. I am glad this is a great moisturizer for dry sensitive skin.3
This is a great cream for the winter-- I use it on the dry patches on my face and hands.4
It smells a bit crazy, but that goes away quickly. This stuff is remarkable on dry, chapped skin. Very soothing.5
I actually have used this before, but only on my lips and hands. I decided to just go all out, and try it as a full body moisturizer. The sample didn't let me get too far, but the parts it was able to reach were very happy. It's feels amazing on chapped, chafed, burnt, or just dry in general areas. I'm not crazy about the Vaseline-like texture, but if it gets me results, I'm ok with it. I also would have liked some type of fragrance.5
I did not like the smell or consistency ...gave away3
i enjoyed the consistancy and the quality. I also liked the packaging.4
I loved this product. My husband has extremely dry skin and it worked great on his hands. The initial smell isn't very appealing but goes away vwry quickly, like less than 30 seconds5
Nothing too stand-out about this lip balm. The consistency is thick, which is good for the winter season but I prefer Jack Black lip balms as they are easier to glide onto your lips and they keep your lips as moisturized as the Yu-Be balm does. I do like the versatility of uses for this balm though, as it is not restricted to dry lips, but dry elbows, hands, cuticles, etc.3
