Professional Japanese mountain climbers use this all-over moisturizer to keep their skin protected when they're scaling Mount Everest, so you know there must be something special about it. Invented by a pharmacist back in the 1950s, Yu-Be has been Japan's top-selling skin cream for over 50 years. Great for head-to-toe hydration, it helps with all forms of stubborn dryness, including flaky red skin, chapped lips, and callused feet. The natural formula is free of ingredients like artificial dyes, fragrances, and petrolatum. It's so gentle that even infants and kids can safely use it.
I have been using this as an under eye moisturizer and have been impressed. It isn't greasy, feels great on, and keeps the area moisturized all day.4
The product really does soften and nourish those stubborn dry patches. I used the Yu-Be Moisterizing Cream on my elbows, knees, and heels and I noticed a signifigant difference. While I was pleased with how it works, I will tell you I just couldn't get past the smell! I know it's natural and many natural products don't add frangrance, but this cream smells very medicinal, like some sort of diaper rash oitment or cow udder cream. I love babies and everything, but I was not enjoying smelling that oitment smell on my body all day! I eventually had to wash it off.3
I love this stuff. The consistency can be a little off putting at first. It looks, feels
And smells like an ointment. But it is so
much more!!!! I use it on my lips, my hands, my face - anywhere that feels dry. I love this stuff and I recommend it to anyone that battles dry skin.
I use this on my lips as a moisturizer after exfoliating, because normal lip balm just doesn't cut it for me, and WOW! It worked so well, my lips felt soft and healthy without any visibly damages skin. Tastes a bit like suntan lotion, of course, but it stays on for a very long time! My lipstick just glided on afterwards!5
this is one of those creepy miracle products. I am a heavy nail biter and using this healed my fingers in three days. I combine it with argan oil and apply it to my husbands head when his hat has been rubbing him with sweat all day and the chap is gone overnight. The formula is not greasy and has a very light odor that disapates after a few minutes. It is a little pricey but that is why I order it and keep it in the heavy arsenal.5
I have very dry skin, and this does a good job moisturizing but it is quite sticky/greasy. Not something I'd repurchase because I feel like a tub of Vaseline will do the same job at a fraction of the price.3
This is the perfect skin cream for extremely dry hands. I teach, so after working with paper all day, then doing a lot of handwashimg, I needed a good cream for nighttime, and this product was great. My hands sayed moist longer the next day, even after handwashing.4
This is a great moisturizer! Love the back story and then was really pleased when I tried it. Nice smell, feels great and really works. It was a go-to Christmas gift a many on my list, including a cousin from Japan who was familiar with the product and delighted to see it again after so many years. Definitely recommend!5
I love this product. I have sensitive, dry skin and eczema patches. I found this lotion to be soothing and non-irritating. Absorbed fast and lasted. I'm on my third tube already. Wish it were bigger!5
This face cream was totally different than anything I've ever used on my face. It reminded me of the healing Tiger Balm that I use on my body for sports injuries, except it left my skin feeling invigorated, refreshed, and smooth. It definitely had healing powers.5
