Professional Japanese mountain climbers use this all-over moisturizer to keep their skin protected when they're scaling Mount Everest, so you know there must be something special about it. Invented by a pharmacist back in the 1950s, Yu-Be has been Japan's top-selling skin cream for over 50 years. Great for head-to-toe hydration, it helps with all forms of stubborn dryness, including flaky red skin, chapped lips, and callused feet. The natural formula is free of ingredients like artificial dyes, fragrances, and petrolatum. It's so gentle that even infants and kids can safely use it.
I used to sell this stuff in a pharmacy so when I saw it in the box I knew it was going to be great. People used to buy this stuff in droves once winter was coming. People swear by this stuff. I personally do not have an immediate use for it, but when you have extremely dry hands there are few things better than this stuff. Highly recommended for people like nurses, who wash their hands a lot.5
this stuff has been great for the cold mn winters on my chapped knuckles! it's a bit greasy, but i don't mind because it's so effective.4
product moisturizes well. it has a menthol smell to it but it does not last very long and is not overwhelming5
This product is not something I would buy. It does seem effective for a moisturizer, but the smell is very medicinal- like Vicks vapor rub! It doesn't linger, but it is pretty strong at first. Not my favorite3
I've seen this product raved about and I think it is a great product too. Will be purchasing this in the future for sure.5
The reason I really like this one is because it is concentrated and that makes it so much easier to use because ill mix it with one of my oils or make up for that matter and the little tube will last so much longer I like this concentrated idea when getting the sample sizes that way we really can try it out4
This salve is pretty awesome for chapped skin and lips and a little goes a long way. In fact, I've received this cream before in a Birchbox from a long time ago and still have enough of it to use from time to time now. It's a little intense for where I live (mostly hot and humid New Orleans), but for those who live in cold climates, it's awesome!4
Around the same time my birchbox arrived I had been working 85 hours a week in the kitchen, which was wreaking havoc on my hands via handwashing constantly. Less than 3 days later, the chapped and cracked areas on my hands was significantly diminishing thanks to this product and ONLY this product.5
This product smells and feels like a certain sticky yellow lip product that is very popular and is sold in tiny jars. Although, I have to says it does work really well. Dab it on any rough spots and it is smooth the next morning.4
This was a very moisturizing product. I did not care for the smell.4
