Professional Japanese mountain climbers use this all-over moisturizer to keep their skin protected when they're scaling Mount Everest, so you know there must be something special about it. Invented by a pharmacist back in the 1950s, Yu-Be has been Japan's top-selling skin cream for over 50 years. Great for head-to-toe hydration, it helps with all forms of stubborn dryness, including flaky red skin, chapped lips, and callused feet. The natural formula is free of ingredients like artificial dyes, fragrances, and petrolatum. It's so gentle that even infants and kids can safely use it.
Received this product as a sample in my may birchbox.not too excited about it..it did make my skin feel hydrated but the smell is horrible..I really couldn't stand it..and it made my face feel a bit hot.Almost like a sting..did not like..3
This moisturizer was great and it really worked well on my dry skin! the only thing I would change about this is the smell. It was so strong that when I applied to my skin it was all I could smell all day long. otherwise it worked very well and you only needed a small amount to apply to work4
My lips are chapped and cracked and gross right now, I put this stuff on and it worked wonders. My lips are still in bad shape but this helped A LOT!!!5
A little goes a long way that is for sure and I am grateful for that. I have used it a handful of times just on my heel and coupled with a pumice stone it has worked well. The smell is a bit too strong of vaseline, but I can get over that.4
It smells like Vick's vapor rub. I would never want to smell like that menthol/medicinal scent so this was a no go for me.2
I wasn't too impressed by the packaging and that resulted in me using it last out of all the products I received last month in my birchbox. However once I did try it I was pleased. The size of the product was another disappointment. It only supplied enough for me to rub on my hands but I would've loved the chance to have been able to apply it to my feet because they tend to be extremely dry and crack easily. I've toyed with the idea of purchasing a bigger bottle but don't want it to be a waste of money and find that it didn't help in the end.4
This cream provided my skin with needed moisture. I think it would be good for dry winter hands. The smell is a little overpowering though.3
This product doesn't have the package appeal but who cares when it works like a charm. My dry skin was virtually illuminated in two to three days. I will buy this product again. (It works especially well for dry elbows)5
The product was a little to thick for my skin type made me feel oily all day.3
I'm willing to try out pretty much any creme/lotion because of my really dry elbows/heels but the smell of this was enough to not want to try it ever again. I also didn't really notice too much of a difference from any other lotion i've tried.3
