Professional Japanese mountain climbers use this all-over moisturizer to keep their skin protected when they're scaling Mount Everest, so you know there must be something special about it. Invented by a pharmacist back in the 1950s, Yu-Be has been Japan's top-selling skin cream for over 50 years. Great for head-to-toe hydration, it helps with all forms of stubborn dryness, including flaky red skin, chapped lips, and callused feet. The natural formula is free of ingredients like artificial dyes, fragrances, and petrolatum. It's so gentle that even infants and kids can safely use it.
Very smooth application. It's very moisturizing. It's a little thick to start but it works. The smell is a bit much. It smells like an American name brand product that is used for the same purpose.4
Good moisturizer for winter, especially for use on dry hands and cuticles. I do not love the smell so maybe that's why I am not into it on my face. Overall pretty good but not my all time favorite.4
I wish i could've used this more than once but the smell was so awful when I put it on my face, I had to wipe it all off immediately. It smelled so strongly like Tiger Balm that I couldn't take it.1
Very small sample, but I am super dry around my chin 9especially once I apply makeup) and this really helped! Not a fan of the branding, but it is super easy to jut throw in a purse. The consistency is awesome though an the smell isn't the worst.4
This product is super moisturizing but lightweight so I dont have to worry about it being too oily on my face. I like it because it's versatile you can use it for face or body. Only thing that was a bit off was the smell. It smells like ointment or something? Not something I'd want to smell like.4
It does an ok job as far as moisturizing, but the smell is so strong, I can't use this product.3
This smell really reminded me of Carmex lip balm whihc I absolutely hate. This was way too thick and gloppy. Just not a fan and don't have much to say about it because I am passing it along to someone else.2
I've been using this as a spot moisturizer for very dry areas -- on my forehead, cuticles, lips. It's very effective for this, and I love that it's not petroleum based. It's a tiny sample but a little goes a long way. The camphory smell is intense but if you only use a tiny bit you don't mind it, and it dissipates quickly.4
I travel a lot so I like receiving samples of face moisturizer. My mail concern with this one is that it is too thick for my liking - I have combination skin so I'm worried that it will cause me to breakout on my nose and chin. Not a keeper for me but might work for someone with dry skin.3
This works wonders for dry, "chapped " winter skin! Love it!5
