Professional Japanese mountain climbers use this all-over moisturizer to keep their skin protected when they're scaling Mount Everest, so you know there must be something special about it. Invented by a pharmacist back in the 1950s, Yu-Be has been Japan's top-selling skin cream for over 50 years. Great for head-to-toe hydration, it helps with all forms of stubborn dryness, including flaky red skin, chapped lips, and callused feet. The natural formula is free of ingredients like artificial dyes, fragrances, and petrolatum. It's so gentle that even infants and kids can safely use it.
This does seem to be moisturizing but the texture and smell is like vapor rub. The sample size is tiny so I didn't get to try it much before it ran out.3
I really liked this because I had some severe dry skin patches on my face that actually hurt. After the first application it felt better. I used everyday for about 4 days and the dry patches were gone. I will definitely purchase this in the future.4
This moisturizer is nice, works well. Provides good moisture without sticky or oily remnants. No weird/unpleasant smell.4
I really liked this moisturizer, not sure how I felt about it for using it on my face; but lately I've always used it on my lips and absolutely loved it!5
I was very excited to see some moisturizer in the box this month and I was intrigued about the products history. It did moisturize my face decently but I was not into the Camphor smell. I have Rosacea like cheeks that are extremely sensitive so this product did not bode so well with my cheeks.4
I've been using it on my cuticles with good results. It does have an intense herbally scent when you first apply it, but it goes away after a few minutes.4
I received this before and wasn't really sure about it. Then winter hit in the Northwest and my families skin was so dry. I used this on my entire family to help with dry cracked skin and it is fantastic. Even as a lip balm!5
I would recommend this product. The lotion isn't greasy and it thick and that is what I love about it. moisture is great.5
I am not a fan. It feels like I'm rubbing a mild-scented version of Vicks Vapor Rub all over my face. Which, at first, doesn't feel horrible because of the cooling feeling, was kind of refreshing. But it felt heavy & greasy on my face, like Vaseline or something. I probably won't use it again unless I end up with a really dry patch or something.3
When I saw the cream, I didn't think much of it, but replaced it in place of my night oil. When you apply, be sure to use less than you expect because it spreads very well. It does has a slightly clinical smell, but it hydrates the skin amazingly during these winter nights!4
