Professional Japanese mountain climbers use this all-over moisturizer to keep their skin protected when they're scaling Mount Everest, so you know there must be something special about it. Invented by a pharmacist back in the 1950s, Yu-Be has been Japan's top-selling skin cream for over 50 years. Great for head-to-toe hydration, it helps with all forms of stubborn dryness, including flaky red skin, chapped lips, and callused feet. The natural formula is free of ingredients like artificial dyes, fragrances, and petrolatum. It's so gentle that even infants and kids can safely use it.
I wasn't expecting this to work miracles (or even be uber effective) and I was right. yay.3
It smells like Carmex, feels like Carmex. Save your money and just buy Carmex from the drug store, if you can stand the smell2
I was pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of this product. This creamy moisturizer is silky smooth without being too oily. It smells just like Vick's Vapor Rub for the first couple minutes but that soon fades away.
I live in the very dry state of Colorado and I can see myself using this product religiously, especially in the winter when my hands turn to stone. It works great on my lips too! Overall, I would definitely reccomend this skin cream.
I never liked the smell of medicated balm like Chapstick, so when I put this on I didn't like the scent of the product. It does moisturize the skin but I just would perfer something that smelled better.3
This moisturizer worked well, but the sample size was pretty small. I probably only got one use out of it, maybe 2.4
I wanted to love this product because several friends said how great it was. It, however, smelled like Carmex to me which I didn't like, but I tried it anyway because I have very dry skin. It never really felt like it absorbed into my skin, rather just sat on top. Then every time I used it I would break out a lot the next day. I ended up trashing the second half of the tube.3
This saved my hands after winter came just in time for me to spend most of New Year's Eve and day outside in philly. No more red, painful hands!4
I rarely use moisturizer on my face as I have naturally oily skin. But when dry winter weather hit, my skin - particularly my lips - needed some moisture ASAP. A small dab of this product on my chapped lips totally healed them and surprisingly the amount I put on my face didn't leave me oily feeling/looking. The next day I applied it all over my face and felt great.4
Okay, but use a product like this already that I'm happy with3
I received this product as a sample. The sample was small, but after using it, it does seem like a little goes a long way. I will likely purchase this for dry spots I get in the winter.5
