Professional Japanese mountain climbers use this all-over moisturizer to keep their skin protected when they’re scaling Mount Everest, so you know there must be something special about it. Invented by a pharmacist back in the 1950’s, Yu-Be has been Japan’s top-selling skin cream for over fifty years. Great for head-to-toe hydration, it helps with all forms of stubborn dryness, including flaky red skin, chapped lips, and callused feet. The natural formula is free of ingredients like artificial dyes, fragrances, and petrolatum. It’s so gentle that even infants and kids can safely use it.
This lotion was greasy and left an unappealing feeling.2
Really liked this hand cream. Living in Maine in winter makes for super dry cracked hands and this really helped. The sample size was ridiculously small however, i barely got 2 very modest uses out of it. That being said I will likely be purchasing the full size in the future. One word of warning, it does have a very strong medicinal scent which I don't mind but some might.3
There was nothing that really stood out for me with this product. I could get the same quality at a drug store.3
At first try, I thought this moisturizer was going to solve all of my dry-cracked hand problems. I did enjoy the strong smell. I just felt like there was not huge carryover in smoothness once the lotion wore off.4
This is a super rich moisturizer, you wouldn't want to use it on your whole face. I've been using it very sparsely & like its effects. The only drawback is the funny smell, very earthy, kind of like dirt.5
This is the only thing that will magically heal my winter chapped lips by morning! I put it on before I go to bed, sweet relief!4
I thought this was a nice moisturizer - very thick consistency and seemed to do a nice job hydrating my skin. It didn't wow me however.3
I recently moved from sunny California to a much colder, rainier climate and my skin is bone dry. This product was amazing and I loved it! It helped heal up a dry spot and made my skin feel moisturized.4
I had heard great things about this product and was excited to try it, however I was disappointed to see that it had camphor in the ingredients. I hoped that the scent would be subtle and it is, however if I'm using the cream anywhere on my face I can smell it and it just reminds me of cold sore cream unfortunately.4
Blah packaging, tiny sample, weird Carmex smell...but wow. This is the only cream that takes care of my painfully dry hands.
The weird smell fades away quickly. I even used it on my chapped lips. Had to buy more!
