Klorane's dry shampoo is such a star, were convinced it deserves its own spot on the Hollywood Beauty Walk of Fame. The longtime choice of celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Diane Kruger, its been praised for its versatility as a grease buster, volumizer, and waterless cleanser (no wonder it snagged Allure's Best of Beauty Award). Made with softening oat milk extracts, plus corn and rice starches, this ultrafine powder spray leaves nary a trace of residue behind. It performs a heroic array of functions: It soaks up oil and sweat from your roots and helps revive second day hair, amps up volume and helps extend the life of blowouts, and can be used as a texturing aide when you're trying to perfect a tricky updo.
I don't like that I have white hair and have to wait several minutes then vigorously brush my hair to get the white out. Not my ideal dry shampoo for sure.3
I have dark hair and felt like the product left residue which is why I would not purchase it again in the future. The smell was also pretty overwhelming and not something I'd like to use on my hair.3
It's another dry shampoo. It seems to weigh down my hair, so my hair doesn't gain any volume from the product, but it does reduce oiliness.3
I have very dark, thick hair. The powder took forever to brush out. It did get rid of some of the oil but I still needed a traditional shampoo. If I had lighter, thinner hair this probably would have worked great. It is just not for me.3
I wanted to like this dry shampoo, especially now that I have a whole sample of it, but I didn't. It didn't not perk up my hair and didn't really do much for it in terms of greasiness or making it look refreshed. On top of that I don't care for the smell--very baby powder/clean candle kind of smell. I MUCH prefer Living Proof or Amika and think their dry shampoos are much better; I would recommend those way before this one. (I have thick, brown hair, which is not overly oily or greasy but I do usually use dry shampoo on day 2 &3.)3
i have naturally dry hair and i dont really need dry shampoo.3
I have tried similar products with Birchbox and for a girl that has to wash her hair daily due to oil buildup, I love dry shampoos.
This one actually had a better fragrance than some of the others I have tried, but the powder wasn't as easy to disperse. I ended up with a slightly dull coating on my dirty blonde/light brown hair when done styling. This was after fully brushing the product through.
So, while it does a thorough job, I think I would go with another brand if I am using it in place of a shampoo instead of using it as a texturizer.
this is a good dry shampoo, but i think any drugstore brand does the same thing for much less money. i enjoyed using it, but wouldnt pay so much for something i've already had for much less money.3
I had never used a dry shampoo as my hair does not easily get oily. It was a little hard to control the spray. It did brush through nicely and my hair felt and looked good after. I think would be a good product if your hair type more requires this type of thing.3
I will say that this product works well, the problem is the residue that it leaves in your hair. While effective, it took FOREVER for me to work in the product and I was still left with white areas. I feel that other dry shampoos work better3
