Klorane’s dry shampoo is such a star, we’re convinced it deserves its own spot on the Hollywood Beauty Walk of Fame. The longtime choice of celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Diane Kruger, it’s been praised for its versatility as a grease buster, volumizer, and waterless cleanser (no wonder it snagged Allure’s Best of Beauty Award). Year after year, it continues to outperform its rivals with its pure botanical formula.
I have very oily skin and hair, especially in the summer. I tried this one morning after showering before bed to give my hair a perk. It gave some volume and bounce and it smells great. I tried it once more after skipping shampoo for a day and it didn't impress me as much. I didn't feel like it absorbed much oil and it left residue (even after waiting a few minutes and then massaging it in) when I touched my hair later in the day.3
I have been on the hunt for a good dry shampoo. Since I have black hair, it's pretty hard to find a good one. I held the can 12 in away, and it bursted out a white powder on my very black hair.
I left it on for a few minutes, then brushed out. The residue went away, but this dry shampoo gave my hair more volume than anything.
I was pretty excited to get this in my box this month. Im sort of new to the dry shampoo scene and was looking to try something new. For some reason this just didnt do a whole lot for my hair, although my sister tried and and loved it!3
I really like the smell of this dry shampoo, and it feels nice and cooling when you spray it on your scalp. However, I experienced the same problem with this product as I do with almost all dry shampoos: the white powder makes my dark hair look sort of gray, no matter how much I brush it out after. Maybe I just don't know how to apply dry shampoo properly, but I will not be purchasing.3
I have thick, curly hair most dry shampoos don't do well in my hair, or leave behind a strange residue if I have had hairspray in. I use these samples out at camp or when it's just not possible to manage my hair as i would like and it tides me over for the day.
I didn't really feel like it worked. Plus it smelled kind of weird3
I've been using the Suave brand which is a fraction of the price and seemingly similar. I don't love using aresol sprays, so it would have been cool to try something with a different dispense method.3
No matter what type I try, dry shampoo just makes my hair look dirty, so its probably something I'm doing wrong, but either way this item was no exception unfortunately :(3
It works really well and I love that its not a powdery substance like its not this weird white that stays on the scalp like other. I'm not really sure about the smell though.3
This was an alright dry shampoo. I wasn't crazy about the scent or the velocity in which the product came out of the can. One positive is the lack of residue.3
