Klorane's dry shampoo is such a star, were convinced it deserves its own spot on the Hollywood Beauty Walk of Fame. The longtime choice of celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Diane Kruger, its been praised for its versatility as a grease buster, volumizer, and waterless cleanser (no wonder it snagged Allure's Best of Beauty Award). Made with softening oat milk extracts, plus corn and rice starches, this ultrafine powder spray leaves nary a trace of residue behind. It performs a heroic array of functions: It soaks up oil and sweat from your roots and helps revive second day hair, amps up volume and helps extend the life of blowouts, and can be used as a texturing aide when you're trying to perfect a tricky updo.
I have very oily/greasy hair and I was very excited when I received this product, however nothing about it amazed me. Compared to other dry shampoos I own, it was exactly the same. I wouldn't purchase this product over, for example, my Dove dry shampoo.3
This product is not for me. I have dark brown hair and this is definitely for blondes because it is hard to get white powder out. It left me looking like I had grey hair. I have used dry shampoos that do not do this so I will stick to the ones that are less of a "white powder spray".3
It works just as well as any other dry shampoo that I have received in my boxes. I don't like the scent, but the product works. A little tired of getting dry shampoo in my box every month though.3
I have blonde hair and use dry shampoos. I wasn't that impressed with this product. It is very light and the scent is lovely but it leaves a white residue.3
I generally have no use for dry shampoos, but I tried this out because I got it in my box. It works well but the smell is kind of... old people-y? In general it's a good product, I just don't really have a use for it.3
Dry shampoos usually don't work well with my hair. I have very fine, oily hair so I usually need to at least rinse my hair everyday. I was feeling really lazy this morning and decided to give it a try, didn't really make a difference and I'm pretty sure everyone in my office can notice I didn't wash my hair :(3
Seems to get rid of oil, but leaves a thick layer of white residue wherever sprayed. This can more or less be rubbed into the hair, depending on your hair texture and color, but you need to wipe it off of any skin it may get on with a wet cloth. I accidentally got some on my (non-root) hair and it poofed out my hair to amazing proportions. This may be just what you're looking for, but it was too much for me.3
I really don't get dry shampoos. They just don't work for me. I tried this one out and it was the same. The scent was pretty and light, but as for how it worked.. can't really comment, because I don't think I'd like ANY dry shampoo, thus the 3 (neutral) stars. I don't think its a BAD product, just isn't for me.3
As far as dry shampoos go this one is pretty standard. Does leave a powdery finish that has to be brushed out. I liked that it left my hair soft and smooth as opposed to most dry shampoos that leave hair sticky and dull looking. Not sure that I would actually purchase this as it isn't anything phenomenal.3
I am not a huge fan of dry shampoo sprays in general. Instead I prefer good old baby powder. This one had a slightly unpleasant smell and was somewhat effective, but it was by no means my favorite.3
