Klorane's dry shampoo is such a star, were convinced it deserves its own spot on the Hollywood Beauty Walk of Fame. The longtime choice of celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Diane Kruger, its been praised for its versatility as a grease buster, volumizer, and waterless cleanser (no wonder it snagged Allure's Best of Beauty Award). Made with softening oat milk extracts, plus corn and rice starches, this ultrafine powder spray leaves nary a trace of residue behind. It performs a heroic array of functions: It soaks up oil and sweat from your roots and helps revive second day hair, amps up volume and helps extend the life of blowouts, and can be used as a texturing aide when you're trying to perfect a tricky updo.
This dry shampoo has a great scent and feels cool when it's sprayed on, but the powder didn't brush out very easily and also didn't seem to absorb as much as it should.3
It's difficult for me to find a dry shampoo that doesn't leave my hair white, and this one fell short in that regard. It smells nice but it doesn't seem to leave my hair as clean-feeling as my regular dry shampoo.3
I have way to many dry shampoo's (thanks to birchbox) however this one is pretty good. It smells nice and it doesn't make your hair feel disgusting.3
This product worked well as far as dry shampoos. It did not turn my hair white or dry it out, but it had an odd smell.3
This product worked well enough, but it did leave some white residue, and having darker hair at the roots it was slightly visible even after brushing thoroughly.3
Gets the job done but leaves more chalky white residue then other high end dry shampoos3
Not one for the dry shampoo but it seemed like a nice product so I traded it with my friend who also gets birchbox for one of her items3
Smells amazing, yet doesn't seem any more or less effective than other brands of dry shampoo. It does the job well, yet not exceptional.3
All my friends swear by dry shampoos, but whenever I use them they always make my hair look/feel strange. This one is no different. When the directions say "brush thoroughly to remove powder," they aren't kidding. I had to brush for a long time to get rid of the powdery look (and my hair isn't that dark). It did get rid of the greasy parts of my hair, but it has a very powdery smell (go figure) that I'm not a huge fan of. I'm sure this product works great for other people, but it's just not my cup of tea. If you're in a pinch and can't wash your hair, this seems like a great emergency product, but that's about the only time I would use it.3
I tried it on my second day hair and it seemed to clean it and give some volume. I don't care for having to wait and then brush it out. It took a little time to ensure that I didn't have any white residue left over. I have another dry shampoo that doesn't do that and works just as well.3
