Klorane's dry shampoo is such a star, were convinced it deserves its own spot on the Hollywood Beauty Walk of Fame. The longtime choice of celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Diane Kruger, its been praised for its versatility as a grease buster, volumizer, and waterless cleanser (no wonder it snagged Allure's Best of Beauty Award). Made with softening oat milk extracts, plus corn and rice starches, this ultrafine powder spray leaves nary a trace of residue behind. It performs a heroic array of functions: It soaks up oil and sweat from your roots and helps revive second day hair, amps up volume and helps extend the life of blowouts, and can be used as a texturing aide when you're trying to perfect a tricky updo.
I am not a huge fan of dry shampoos. They simply do not work for my oily type hair. I shampoo every other day and used this product on the no shampoo day. I found that it smelled great but was hard to brush out and my hair didn't feel very clean. The sample size was great but for the price, I would not make this product a staple.3
This spray was effective in making my hair less greasy, but was completely white against my almost-black hair. I had to rub it in for a solid 5 minutes to make it blend in. I'm not disappointed with the product, but with Birchbox sending this to me after I specifically said that my hair was dark. This would have been an awesome product, had I not had to spend time rubbing it into my scalp.3
This was an Allure Beat of Beauty winner? I don't get it. Maybe I'm just not a dry shampoo girl. It leaves a white powder on your hair that you have to thoroughly brush out. It smells fine, but my hair didn't feel remarkably clean. It would give me an extra day till the shower but only if I wasn't leaving the house and didn't need to look really great.3
The mist seemed very light to really be effective. It also had a weird smell. Not necessarily bad, but not good either.3
I am a religious user of dry shampoo, so I was excited to have a new brand to try. This dry shampoo left my hair feeling soft and quite naturally textured, and I was impressed by its endurance: I applied it the night before "second day hair," and did a light touch up in the morning—my hair looked clean and natural all day! I'm not crazy about the smell and it left a slightly grayish tint at the roots (standard for dry shampoos unless you're using Batiste or another tinted brand) so it's not a slam dunk, but I was overall quite pleased3
I wasn't too happy with the fact I only got to use this product like 3 times. The smell was okay, but I feel like there are other less expensive dry shampoos out there to purchase.3
I originally received a sample size of Klorane's dry shampoo spray in my monthly birthbox subscription. I did like that this brand focused on using quality and healthy ingredients especially in a dry shampoo formulation. Its very difficult to find affordable dry shampoo that is also good for your hair and doesn't break your normal washing routine. This product would be great to include in your gym bag.3
It didn't work very well for me I had to use another dry shampoo.3
Dry shampoos are not something I use a lot and birchbox keeps sending me them. This one a had a nice smell but that is all.3
I have very short hair and when I shower I wet it down, then style it. No need for dry shampoo.
My stylist said to use it anyway for body and I've tried, but this product really isn't for me.
Maybe if I grow out my hair out and it's summertime, I'll use it then.
