Klorane's dry shampoo is such a star, were convinced it deserves its own spot on the Hollywood Beauty Walk of Fame. The longtime choice of celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Diane Kruger, its been praised for its versatility as a grease buster, volumizer, and waterless cleanser (no wonder it snagged Allure's Best of Beauty Award). Made with softening oat milk extracts, plus corn and rice starches, this ultrafine powder spray leaves nary a trace of residue behind. It performs a heroic array of functions: It soaks up oil and sweat from your roots and helps revive second day hair, amps up volume and helps extend the life of blowouts, and can be used as a texturing aide when you're trying to perfect a tricky updo.
I haven't tried the Dry Shampoo but I gave it to my daughter and she absolutely loved it.
It didn't flack like most do. It was easy to use, smelled great, and the small bottle was easy to throw in her bag and take with her.
I've tried several different dry shampoos over the years, thinking it would be a helpful product to have around. I was hoping this sample would be the one to convert me, but I wasn't very impressed. I think my primary issue was the scent. All dry shampoos seem to have a very chemical-y fragrance to them, and I just don't want my hair smelling like that!1
Others might love this, but I am not a dry shampoo girl. I thought this product had a strong smell, was difficult to apply (it sprayed out with a lot of force), and didn't help me get through a non-shampoo day. Full disclosure: I was my hair every day, so I have no experience with dry shampoos, but this didn't change my mind about my routine.1
So excited to receive a dry shampoo this month - I have been wanting to try one but they are so expensive to just try. It did not work for me..I thought my hair still looked kind of dirty after using and I didn't like the scent at all. Gave my hair an overall gray look even after brushing. I have already passed this sample on to someone else!1
I have friends who received this and love it. They have straight hair, though. The product advises you to brush the product through (with brush, comb, or fingers). I have curly hair, though, and I do not brush my hair when it's dry with my fingers or otherwise. I only used this product once, but found that because I couldn't really comb it through as directed that it left my hair feeling greasy and dirtier than before. I wash my hair every other day and only used this product in a pinch.1
This product was okay. It smelled nice, it was easy to use, and it seemed to work well enough. I'm just not a fan of putting stuff in my hair. No matter what it is, I can feel it in there and it makes it feel heavy. I try to use as few products (needed ones to protect my hair against the heat from my curling iron, etc.) as possible in my hair so this just wasn't for me.1
I am not a dry shampoo user but gave this a try..smelled good but didn't work well with my haircut to products in my hair1
Dry shampoos are just not for me. I follow the directions, but... I am still trying to figure out how fine, fluffy hair that's not at all oily always looks such a fright after contact with dry shampoo.1
I have very dark hair and despite brushing and blow drying, there was still noticeable residue in my hair. It did a good job absorbing oil, but would have liked for the the powder to be clear. I also did not like the smell. It smells cleaner and less artificial than some dry shampoos I've tried, but it's still quite strong.1
This product had a real flowery scent which I hated. Plus I don't feel like it did the job.1
