Klorane's dry shampoo is such a star, were convinced it deserves its own spot on the Hollywood Beauty Walk of Fame. The longtime choice of celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Diane Kruger, its been praised for its versatility as a grease buster, volumizer, and waterless cleanser (no wonder it snagged Allure's Best of Beauty Award). Made with softening oat milk extracts, plus corn and rice starches, this ultrafine powder spray leaves nary a trace of residue behind. It performs a heroic array of functions: It soaks up oil and sweat from your roots and helps revive second day hair, amps up volume and helps extend the life of blowouts, and can be used as a texturing aide when you're trying to perfect a tricky updo.
I hate dry shampoo. It doesn't work well with my hair texture. This product leaves a white streak in your hair!1
i really don't use dry shampoo and this is like tge 5th one I've gotten. it smells terrible and leaves a white residue in my hair. i have thick hair that doesn't really get oily so I have zero use for this1
I was not happy with this rpoduct at all. I have curly hair and its neither dry or oily. This product was not relavent to me at all. i had stated this information when i first signed up for birchbox. I was really upset with this product and hope it doesnt happen again.1
I like the idea of a dry shampoo, especially if I'm short on time, but this one does not work well! I used as directed, but was left with white powder all in my hair, that no amount of brushing would remove.1
The product leaves residue in your hair that is very difficult to remove. It also smells very strongly of chemicals.1
It was okay! Nothing special .... I like my other dry shampoo better1
This product left a white residue in my hair. It smells pleasant. This just isn't a beauty product I use.1
This was the first dry shampoo I've tried. I was excited to try dry shampoo because my hair gets very oily very quickly and my hair shows all of it because it is thin and straight. I know people always say you're not supposed to wash your hair every day, but if I don't it looks wet. I've tried weaning off, I've tried alternatives... I was hoping that a dry shampoo might help cut down on the grease factor. It does do that, but it also makes my hair feel heavy. I touch my hair a lot and it rubs off on my hands, making them feel grimy and like I need to wash them. I don't know if this residue is typical of dry shampoos or if it's just this particular one. This stuff also smells awful, like cheap old lady perfume.
I would only use this again if I really needed to make my hair look presentable right away and had no alternatives. It looks okay, it just feels gross. I intentionally skipped washing my hair in the shower so that I could try this out and I feel like I need to take another shower to get rid of it, and I am NOT an obsessive multiple-times-a-day showerer.
1st- to be fair, I will admit I'm not a fan of dry shampoo products (unless I found 1 that leaves my hair feeling NATURAL!). I am surprised it says "Naturally tinted for brunettes." I have medium brown color hair, with highlights & lowlights. Well, after trying out the sample, my hair has a silvery sheen... ugh! I do NOT desire the gray "highlights"! Besides that, 2 words came to mind right away after sampling this product - dry & heavy. My hair no longer had its natural feeling, & it also appeared a bit heavy insted of the usually fine lighter-weight feeling it had. I won't even continue to deplete the sample - that's how much I didn't like it! I almost wanted to wash it out of my hair right away. The only good thing I can add is that it didn't leave my hair with a lacquer-like layer on it, as I feared, so just plain heavy but not oily-heavy!1
I'm a blonde and would like it as a dry shampoo if it didn't smell so bad! The smell is like awful cheap perfume and is so strong it can engulf a whole room, yuck. Gave me a headache. Was excited to try it...1
