Klorane's dry shampoo is such a star, were convinced it deserves its own spot on the Hollywood Beauty Walk of Fame. The longtime choice of celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Diane Kruger, its been praised for its versatility as a grease buster, volumizer, and waterless cleanser (no wonder it snagged Allure's Best of Beauty Award). Made with softening oat milk extracts, plus corn and rice starches, this ultrafine powder spray leaves nary a trace of residue behind. It performs a heroic array of functions: It soaks up oil and sweat from your roots and helps revive second day hair, amps up volume and helps extend the life of blowouts, and can be used as a texturing aide when you're trying to perfect a tricky updo.
First off, I am a huge fan of dry shampoos. I have short hair and use it for styling after washing and blow drying my hair for a little hold that doesn't hold as firm as hair spray. THIS product shoots the product out like a fire extinguisher and leaves everything (hair, mirror, face) coated with a white layer of residue that is impossible to remove. Besides leaving a residue, it leaves my hair noticeably duller and without shine. Not for styling use. Made my hair static-y and wispy. I will absolutely not be using this sample for a second time.1
This is the second time i have received this sample of product - terrible smell - i am upset that i received it twice as I order the box with the hopes of trying NEW products. so disappointed!1
I've already received this product so I know it's now for me or my hair type1
I have very dark hair, and I have to be careful using dry shampoo, unless I want my hair to look a little gray. I did the lightest spray I could at a fair distance away, but this dry shampoo still put a white spot in my hair that did not brush out very well at all.1
This is the second time birchbox has sent me this same product :/ im not a fan of it it makes my hair feel funny and puts a thin layer of white powder on it that doesnt all brush out... not for me...1
I have no use for this product. I wash my hair daily and it tends to be on the dry side already.1
I was born and raised in the Bahamas. I have ethnic hair. I noticed that I didn't select hair care products but continually receive them. Not using this at all...my hair being dry isn't a good thing.1
It makes dark are look dull. However, I have found that all dry shampoos do this. It did remove the oils in my hair and refreshed it somewhat.1
I have pretty fine hair and I feel like dry shampoo always makes it worse. I have friends that swear by it, but it's not for me.1
This product would have been great, but it left my brown hair with a horrible white powder all over. Then it was hard to remove in the shower. However, I did like how it felt on my hair. Hopefully the one for brunettes works better.1
