Klorane's dry shampoo is such a star, were convinced it deserves its own spot on the Hollywood Beauty Walk of Fame. The longtime choice of celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Diane Kruger, its been praised for its versatility as a grease buster, volumizer, and waterless cleanser (no wonder it snagged Allure's Best of Beauty Award). Made with softening oat milk extracts, plus corn and rice starches, this ultrafine powder spray leaves nary a trace of residue behind. It performs a heroic array of functions: It soaks up oil and sweat from your roots and helps revive second day hair, amps up volume and helps extend the life of blowouts, and can be used as a texturing aide when you're trying to perfect a tricky updo.
Although this product received great reviews, overall it was just not for me. I don't typically like dry shampoo because of the residue and smell it leaves behind. This was no exception.1
I only wash my hair about once a week, so I waited until wash day to break this out. Spraying it in my bathroom, even with the window open and fan on, the smell was so strong that I had to leave. After I brushed it out, my hair had the texture of straw. It was so bad I gave up and washed it, and even now, the next day, there's a powdery film over my hair that makes it extremely unpleasant to touch. Do not recommend!1
you could easily tell I was wearing it. I only sprayed a little bit and my roots were white. I tried dispersing it a little with my fingers but that didn't work. I feel like it might do better in thicker hair but it really didn't work for me.1
I love dry shampoos and use them even after shampooing, because they give my hair a bit of lift and texture. Many of them are too drying, so I was excited to try this brand - it looks so healthy! Sadly, the spray is too forceful for fine hair. I have a lot of fine hair, so it's not thin, but this just blew my hair straight up in the air. It seems like a great product, and I wish I could have given it a better try. But after working so hard to get the right cut, adding styling product, then blow dry & style - this tiny little spray just blew it all over the place.1
Another Birchbox , another dry shampoo, another useless product! I don't like dry shampoos. so I can't tell if it is good or bad!1
I used it and it smelled so bad that I ended up having to immediately wash it out.1
I am over this whole dry shampoo thing. I really only use it on my dogs now since it always leaves my hair greasy and gross feeling.1
I had received an Amika one before and like that one much better. This smelled a little too chemically for my taste and left a lot of white residue.1
I'm not seeing the point of this product. I use dry Shampoo and this one dies do anything for me. It doesn't add volume or dial up excess oil. I feel like I'm spraying it for show.1
I have curly, chemically treated hair. This is the 2nd dry shampoo sample I have received from Birch Box. It is just not for me.1
