Klorane's dry shampoo is such a star, were convinced it deserves its own spot on the Hollywood Beauty Walk of Fame. The longtime choice of celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Diane Kruger, its been praised for its versatility as a grease buster, volumizer, and waterless cleanser (no wonder it snagged Allure's Best of Beauty Award). Made with softening oat milk extracts, plus corn and rice starches, this ultrafine powder spray leaves nary a trace of residue behind. It performs a heroic array of functions: It soaks up oil and sweat from your roots and helps revive second day hair, amps up volume and helps extend the life of blowouts, and can be used as a texturing aide when you're trying to perfect a tricky updo.
I was thinking about doing the "dry shampoo Thing" to see what the hype was about. I got Klorane in one of my boxes so I decided to go for it. I used the sample for about a week and my hair felt thicker and it just looked really good. I since ran out and have been using another product I got from a big Makeup chain and it makes my hair flat and leaves a white dust and my scalp dirty and itchy. So...I'm ordering this product. and its very inexspesive compared to the store stuff!!!5
One of the best dry shampoos I have ever tried. It left my hair refreshed and clean looking without weighing it down or gluing it together. Also love that it works just as well if you put it in the night before or in the morning.5
I have oily hair and this product allows you to skip a day of shampooing. It has a pleasant scent and it's easy to use.5
I love this product! If I don't feel like washing my hair that day, I just use this and throw my hair hair in a pony tail and it leaves my hair oily or too matte looking. just right!5
Okay I am a man that will admit to using dry shampoo. Keeps my hair looking good when I have no time to wash and blow dry my hair due to rushing out the door. Works well and my hair looks like it was washed and styled as usual. A bit pricey but works for me.5
THE best dry shampoo I've tried. It easily dries out excess oils and smells AMAZING. I love keeping a small can of this dry shampoo in my bag for touchups throughout the day.5
A little backstory:
I have to wash my hair every other day - have to! Day 1, my hair is a little dry, a little frizzy. At the end of Day 1 is when my hair is at its prime. Day 2, the oils have starting smoothing out the frizz and my hair looks polished and manageable - this drags on the volume at the roots though. End of day 2 is mandatory hair up. Day 3, wash hair.
I applied this dry shampoo to my roots in the morning on Day 2. It absorbed the oils nicely and made my hair look cleaner and more voluminous. It worked great!
However!!! If I waited a little longer to use the dry shampoo, my hair just became this oily and a little bit filmy mess. Maybe I needed to use more, but the oil to powder ratio was just not right.
To sum up, timing matters, but this is the only dry shampoo I've tried that actually works.
I've never been a huge fan of dry shampoos (weighed my hair down, dried it out, felt stiff... etc.), but this one has completely surprised me. My hair feels silky, smooth and light - no heavy, weighed down feeling. Not to mention it smells amazing! Would definitely use again and again.5
I like everything about this dry shampoo except for the smell. I love being able to take my hair out of a pony tail and have the refreshed smell of whatever product or shampoo I use.. But this doesn't leave the best smell behind. I usually try covering it up with something else.4
I like this one pretty well but there are others just as good. It's not too chalky or heavily scented.4
