Klorane's dry shampoo is such a star, were convinced it deserves its own spot on the Hollywood Beauty Walk of Fame. The longtime choice of celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Diane Kruger, its been praised for its versatility as a grease buster, volumizer, and waterless cleanser (no wonder it snagged Allure's Best of Beauty Award). Made with softening oat milk extracts, plus corn and rice starches, this ultrafine powder spray leaves nary a trace of residue behind. It performs a heroic array of functions: It soaks up oil and sweat from your roots and helps revive second day hair, amps up volume and helps extend the life of blowouts, and can be used as a texturing aide when you're trying to perfect a tricky updo.
In the end, I don't see the point of dry shampoo. It smells good, but it doesn't actually seem to do anything to hair. I have extremely curly hair and I only shampoo it once or twice a week, because otherwise all of the chemicals weigh it down and make it gross. Spraying a bunch of dry chemicals into hair just seems to me to be redundant as opposed to washing it all out. Even my friends who swear by dry shampoo don't seem to notice that their hair looks dusty and a bit greasy as the day goes on. I don't think it makes it look/feel "clean" -- I just think it makes it easier to style which, any hair stylist will tell you, is because it's still dirty, and you've added gunk to it. Dirty hair is the easiest to style, and to hold in style. I hope my box space isn't wasted by dry shampoo again ... though this one at least had a really soft, health, subtle scent.2
This is by far the best dry shampoo that I have tried! It doesn't leave any white residue and it keeps my hair fresh for another day.5
There's nothing particularly wrong with this dry shampoo, I have just used some better ones for a better price. It leaves white residue in my hair and doesn't make it feel as fresh and clean as some of the other brands. I've purchased this in the past and it feels like it runs out very quickly. I wouldn't recommend this one.4
this stuff is amazing. although i already had a sample from another beauty box, i was glad to have a replacement to keep in my gym bag. i have thin, oily hair and this stuff works wonders. it doesn't leave a residue. it smells nice. it soaks up oil and sweat and dander and whatever else. i run my fingers through my hair and give my head a toss after i use it and i'm good to go.5
to really test this out. it worked well while I was camping but that was an extreme circumstance i dont know yet if it would be to thick and chalky in my hair for a regular day out.4
This dry shampoo works great- I would highly recommend this to people with blonde hair. I made the switch to Amika because it works better with my hair and smells better. But I still really like this product.4
I have never found a dry shampoo that I thought worked well for me (I have extremely oily hair) so most dry shamps fail. This one works so well I can't even tell that I haven't washed my hair. It not only takes the look of oil away but also the feel, which is super awesome to me.5
I used this on one day old hair. it came out in a white spray that needed to be rubbed in like most dry shampoo. I worked ok, but I think I'll stick with the drug store brands3
Okay so this product works so well that I even tried it after a workout and my hair looks like I haven't been sweating. The only down side is the intense hairspray smell mixed with a light powder smell.4
Not too heavy of a smell, seemed to really freshen up my hair. Considering buying full size once my amika runs out5
