Klorane's dry shampoo is such a star, were convinced it deserves its own spot on the Hollywood Beauty Walk of Fame. The longtime choice of celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Diane Kruger, its been praised for its versatility as a grease buster, volumizer, and waterless cleanser (no wonder it snagged Allure's Best of Beauty Award). Made with softening oat milk extracts, plus corn and rice starches, this ultrafine powder spray leaves nary a trace of residue behind. It performs a heroic array of functions: It soaks up oil and sweat from your roots and helps revive second day hair, amps up volume and helps extend the life of blowouts, and can be used as a texturing aide when you're trying to perfect a tricky updo.
I spot tested this, this morning on 2 day unwashed hair before I hopped into the shower. My hair was very slightly oily, enough to need a wash or a dry shampoo. The spot I tested it on seemed not effected by this. Guess I'll stick with Batiste.3
I have extensions. This is perfect days i need to get up and go and don't have time to shower. It is light and yet soaks up the excess oil from scalp. The smell is subtle and not overwhelming.5
Smells great and works well - absorbs oil in hair - but leaves a visible white powder that doesn't blend in. I have dark hair so this would probably not be as noticeable on light hair. It works without leaving hair stiff or unbrushable. I wish it came in a dark hair version.2
Klorane blows all other dry shampoos out of the water, and I've tried quite a few (batiste, pssst, suave, amika, not your mother's, plus a few more can't recall).5
I'm a dry shampoo lover. I've tried a number of brands and typically use Batiste, but feels better to me. I find it makes my hair feel softer without sacrificing effectiveness or added volume.5
This actually works well - it made my hair so soft after I used it, but ti didn't feel very clean, just soft. I also couldn't get passed the smell. It smells really chemically to me, I will finish using my sample but won't buy a larger can.3
I love trying new dry shampoos and this stuff is pretty awesome. It has a wonderful scent and soaks up oil better than a lot of other dry shampoos I've tried. Adds volume and texture, but you have to be careful about some white residue. Other than that it's amazing!5
I love the amount of volume this product allows. Perfect for my loose curls, especially with day two hair. It really extends a good hair day.4
First dry shampoo I ever used and it was a good first experience. I like the smell and doesn't leave a residue4
I really did like this sample. It smelled nice and worked well. I do think that the $20 price tag is way steep though. I personally use a $6 dry shampoo from my local drug store and like it more.
Enjoyed the sample, but wouldn't seek this product out.
