Klorane's dry shampoo is such a star, were convinced it deserves its own spot on the Hollywood Beauty Walk of Fame. The longtime choice of celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Diane Kruger, its been praised for its versatility as a grease buster, volumizer, and waterless cleanser (no wonder it snagged Allure's Best of Beauty Award). Made with softening oat milk extracts, plus corn and rice starches, this ultrafine powder spray leaves nary a trace of residue behind. It performs a heroic array of functions: It soaks up oil and sweat from your roots and helps revive second day hair, amps up volume and helps extend the life of blowouts, and can be used as a texturing aide when you're trying to perfect a tricky updo.
I love dry shampoo and religiously use Batiste, I had high hopes for trying this one because I've heard a ton about it, it comes with a lot of endorsements by celebs and I figured the higher price point must mean something. But honestly it's not as effective as my Batiste and more than double the price. Not too impressed.3
I have very dark hair and this dry shampoo would not blend in at all. It made my hair look grey, which I don't have yet, so I don't want to look like I do. I had to give it to someone that does have grey hair. I have another dry shampoo that I love.1
I thought this product worked very well and had a nice fresh scent, but I think for the price it's a bit too similar to products that I can find in the drug store for much cheaper.3
Not sure why this claims no residue because it comes out extremely white. I have blonde hair, and it made my roots look horribly ashy and gray. Also, the smell was overpowering and not good at all. I love dry shampoo, have sampled many brands, and use it almost every day for styling purposes, but this was just not a good product.3
It may not smell as good as some of the dry shampoos out there, but man is it effective. My hair was in badddd need of a shower when I tried, and although it did leave my hair looking a little dull, it was not longer oily! (that's the point right...) Definitely a necessity for all my lazy girls (and guys) out there.4
I have read what feels like hundreds of reviews on this dry shampoo. It looks like editors' favorite and THE one from bloggers and reviewers. The first thing that I didn't like about this was seeing aluminum in the ingredients list, though that is very prevalent in dry shampoos. Nonetheless I was very excited to try such a popular item. I really liked the smell of the product but didn't get the "fluffier" feeling I was hoping for. My hair was still oily and flat, though user error may have been a factor. I just wasn't sure if I was holding it closer or far enough, and/or if I was spraying too much. I rate this as okay, but I'm also more interested in trying the Amika dry shampoo.3
FINALLY a dry shampoo that works perfectly with my highlighted hair! I have tried them all and had no idea that a dry shampoo could work so well. if you have bleached or colored hair and do not shampoo everyday-this product is a must for your hair care collection!5
I LOVE this product, and received it with my first birchbox so was very impressed with the company paying attention to what I wanted to try. Will continue my subscription mainly because of this!5
It works well but you really have to comb it in because it comes out so white and chalky. I have really oily hair so I put it on the night before in case I oversleep. My hair was so nice and soft and didn't look oily at all. Worked fairly well4
I work very odd hours and some days have to skip washing my hair. Which is a big no-no as my hair is so oily. But this dry shampoo seems to be a major help with that. It makes my hair look just from the shower clean on the days I skip hair washing.5
