Klorane's dry shampoo is such a star, were convinced it deserves its own spot on the Hollywood Beauty Walk of Fame. The longtime choice of celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Diane Kruger, its been praised for its versatility as a grease buster, volumizer, and waterless cleanser (no wonder it snagged Allure's Best of Beauty Award). Made with softening oat milk extracts, plus corn and rice starches, this ultrafine powder spray leaves nary a trace of residue behind. It performs a heroic array of functions: It soaks up oil and sweat from your roots and helps revive second day hair, amps up volume and helps extend the life of blowouts, and can be used as a texturing aide when you're trying to perfect a tricky updo.
I have been very interested in trying dry shampoo to help lift my fine hair. I've heard though that some leave a white mark on your hair -- which this product did. I used it at the end of the day not necessarily needing it to do anything for me - just to try it for smell & see if it left color marks in my hair. Smell wasn't really noticeable to me. The marks were entirely noticeable to me - spraying in different spots at different angles different space from head to product -- always left a white mark. I did think it would be a good product for lift on fine hair - almost like a back comb - but cannot use it due to the white marks. This DID however 2 days later make it so my hair after sleeping on it (2 days because 1 days was spent in bed with a migraine) was not greasy still had tons of body and curl (and I did have major sweat/hot flashes on 1st day after using) and would be really easy to style hair into a pony tail or similar -- perhaps because of the use of this product. Not sure. I'm going to use what I have to see if it helps with the next day hair to see if white marks aren't noticeable and helps with weekend no hair washing days I try to incorporate. Long review..... but for me it's not something I'd buy only for the white marks but othewise I did like it.3
This product worked fairly well. I have dirty-blonde hair, and for the most part, I find plain old baby powder works best for me when my hair starts to feel/look oily. I haven't found a dry shampoo that I think works much better... however this doesn't work for everyone, especially those with darker locks. I especially don't like the way this product smells. I'm sure there are many other comparable products out there that I would enjoy more.3
SMELLED LOVELY, AND WORKED NICELY ON THE THREE DAY OLD HAIR.5
I wash my hair every other day or sometimes even every 2 days so dry shampoo for me is essential. This works great in taking out the oil of my hair. Smells great too.5
Not much of a dry shampoo kind of person but when I used it it seemed to work pretty good3
I was so excited to see I was going to get more Klorane Dry Shampoo in my box this month, as I was currently running low. I go through dry shampoo like it's my job, and Klorane is one of my favorites. It kinda smells like old lady perfume, but it works wonders. It's more of the powdery kind of dry shampoo versus the hair spray-like dry shampoo, but it doesn't leave your hair really powdery and weighed down, just gets rid of the grease/oil. Would highly recommend to everyone!5
I like this dry shampoo. It goes on with a light feeling – and it doesn’t have that after sticky spray feel you sometimes get. It really does work to add a little volume to your hair too. I’m picky with dry shampoos, but this one moved up on my list of “likes”.4
Goes on easy and when blending into scalp and hair become hard to get body and it is sticky4
I applied this a few days ago when I was busy busy busy. I noticed on my way out that my hair looked flat and oily so I applied according to the directions, and brushed my hair at the part a couple times and my hair looked like it did that morning. No residue when I washed my hair the next morning. Great product for busy women. Oh! I have red hair, it did not dull the vibrance of my color either.
I have been using Klorane dry shampoos for some time now. This is not my favourite because I have oily hair, hence the nettle one works best for me, but this one has the best smell. In any case, I use it when I ran out of the nettle one, and it works very well.5
